It's shocking how many people are either childishly impatient, believe they've never made a mistake themselves and/or just simply don't understand the concepts of mistakes.

I was looking forward to this as well, it's still coming out. It's not the end of the world if we have to wait a bit longer.

Everyone seems to be mad it was postponed. Did you ever care to look at runecoins and loyalty having value. When you put loyalty into a cash setting with runecoins and try to interchange them people will figure out real fast the value of cash and loyalty. So it ends up a damned if you do damned if you don't kind of situation. I bet a last minute phone call from certain people delayed this update till they could figure out a way to make the value of runecones and loyalty best suit their needs without looking bad. So they picked the lesser of the 2 evils, delay the update.

Or you know... they delayed the update to first week of September so we would get 1 week less of content and 1 week less of hassle for them, i call dibs on that claim!

Also they don't care about that kind of situation, given that they are against RWT and they are pretty much doing a scam on the playerbase with the SoF.

"Hey guys i'll place a 200m gold slot in the wheel, with IMPOSSIBLE RARITY of winning it."

Don't try to deny that fact, i myself have spent quite some cash in the squeal before, coming to regret it later, anyways i made over 3m xp from that cash spent, using lamps only, like 5m gold and a crapton of pendants and recharge gems. Only got one "rare" win in the squeal from like 1k-1.5k (?) spins bought, and that was a huge xp lamp, nothing more.

Anyone else get the "We are improving the Loyalty Store! To prepare, it will be closed from 16/08 - 27/08. Please visit the RuneScape website to learn more." message when signing in today?

I don't know much about code or how they put those messages in the game, but that's probably something I would have changed once they took down the banner from the front page.

But THANKS for the update with more info about the delay, I would love to hear more about it though, so players could understand why it needs to be delayed so long for the fixes?

I'm also hoping that the week they say has bonus time for extra testing, and not the minimum time they think it'll take to fix.

Side note: My current slayer assignment is Forum Trolls, so if you're here just to bash, watch out ;)

im a forum troll!!! ima forum troll!! come and get me!! :P

Nice one tho! thumbs up

Dude just be quiet seriously...JaGex doesn't have an issue releasing buggy content any other time the only reason they are taking their time this time is because guess what this content is the one that makes them money. So once again their cooperate greed got in their way, it was initially suppose to be released along side the EOC update if you read the Dev Blog.

I do think that Jagex should have communicated this better. While, I hope that Jagex sees this feedback and reflects upon it, I also think that some of the feedback on here from the players is quite interesting.

It seems whenever Jagex releases an update with bugs that isn't seen to be quite ready, players are upset. It also seems that when Jagex holds off an update to ensure it's ready, players are upset. Yes - Jagex should have communicated this better in advance, but at the same time it's important for people to realize that they wouldn't intentionally seek more rants from the players for kicks and giggles given all the heat they've received for controversial updates such as EOC in the past. The only reason Jagex would decide to hold off an update is if they know that it isn't ready, and I think that players should at least respect that they are ensuring that it is fully up to par upon release.

I do have to agree with some rants that folks are mentioning about the upset of this being a 'priority' (and also relating to microtransactions) when some other updates such as content has been delayed by far greater periods. I see that concern as valid negative feedback as it indicates the level of priority Jagex places on updates relating to microtransactions vs non microtransaction updates.

True also... i must say..

its really both sides... i think..

i do want to trust jagex..

but after a few updates that were assumingly great, turned into rather disapointment..

trust is almost gone..

Edit:

Im not sure if i ever thanked Jagex for all the good they have done also..

So here it is...

Thank You Jagex!!
