I was totally cool with it being delayed a day or two, but this is absurd. If you tell us it's August 27, don't go and postpone it until September.

They August 27 date was given to us weeks ago, and you'd think Jagex would be able to work out the flaws before the deadline.

I am disappoint.

Wow, I wasn't going to get upset over this, but postponing it until next week? Why didn't you just say that you didn't know when it would be ready, instead of posting a huge banner saying "Coming 27th of August", taking it down and changing it to the 28th, and then finally telling us that it's coming out next week. Honestly, I think I'm justified in feeling this way.

I for one appreciate Jagex not releasing content until it is ready. I am not sure why everyone always get on here just to bash and complain. I have been playing RuenScape for about 10 years and I have seen more POSITIVE from Jagex than negative. For those who say Jagex is not listening to its players you really need to take a look around. Most of RS3 came from ideas from the players. As far as Jagex not posting this update til later in the day is completely understandable. They were trying there best to move forward with the release. Good decision on not releasing content until it is ready.

P.S. If you really hate this game so much......why are you still here? Only conclusion I can come up with is you like this game but also like to complain. Even if you have no idea what you are complaining about.

This post made me feel silly until I saw your mistaking "there" for "their". Then you made me feel justified.

Also, I completely agree that Jagex's overhype as well as the huge banner stating "Coming the 27th of August" justify our disappointment in this content delay which was clearly a result of under-staffing the project due to the low profit turnaround.

A one-day delay is understandable, but a week? Seriously? "Alright people, couple of hiccups, our bad. We'll have it by the 28th, though!" And suddenly 7 more days get tacked on. SoF never had problems like this...

Its dissapointing, but I think people just need to be more patient. Jagex is doing the best they can to release updates on time, but sometimes it doesn't always work like that. I would rather a working update than a glitchy update.

As stated from the BTS August.
