You said two hours ago that information is coming and you never had the decency to tell us it was delayed then. TWO HOURS WITHOUT ANYTHING.

Why do you treat us like this? Who is the higher up that decided to keep us in the dark.

It's bloody disgusting that we're being treated like this.

I suspect a last second change of mind.

Jagex are in a difficult position, at the moment they are making decent money with Squeal spins and Solomon. However they need to try and retain existing players and one way is by using loyalty rewards.

If they make the loyalty rewards too small then long standing players may get even more annoyed and have a greater chance of leaving.

If they make the loyalty rewards too large then they may earn less from sales.

They are between a rock and a hard place, and the player base continues to fall.

On another note about people complaining about having to pay for this, calm yourselves, you are paying way less than many others do for other online games that offers half the content and far from as frequent updates.

While it's disappointing to see stuff like this, I don't know why people are getting so upset over the delay.

Isn't it a GOOD thing they're delaying it if they have bugs? Would you guys really rather have the system that handles actual monetary transactions have "hiccups"? =L

People need to chill, remember this is work that can take any amount of time, you are paying for the game, yes, but to be frank, Jagex is one of few game developers that release new updates this frequently if you compare it to other large MMORPG's.

Take a chill-pill, do something fun while you wait, this isn't much more than a day of postponing, not like your lives are over.

... You know Jagex made a deadline wich were 11 days (16th till 27th) to get this working and they can't even make it in that amount of days.

If they were smart enough they could have said a start day wich was the 16th and not a finish day date but more a suspecting finish day, if they said like 16th till 30th and they could have released it today or on the 28th then they would have gained more respect and loyalty but the way they handle it now is just sad.

Making a banner saying it would get released today and then inform the community so late don't deserve respect.

So we had Solomon's smug, ugly mug pasted across the homepage for two weeks for nothing then?


...And since when did a few "hiccups" warrant a day(or more) delay?

The EoC was still haemorrhaging bits of spleen tissue and you released it anyway.

And I still have fps problems in rs3.

So why delay this because it's not ready? Is consistency too much to ask?

such a shame, i've been looking forward to this for a while. However, I'd much rather see it done right, and if there are problems, then its best to get those sorted even if it means pushing the deadline. Thanks for the heads up, and hopefully tomorrow :(
