@ Dragon 30211
The new maxed combat level is 200, i have 2 99's in strength and attack, only 91 in defence and my combat lvl is 192, not the same as the people who have all 99's combat skills.
Feedback:
Only a small amount so far due to lag bt putting all graphics etc on lowest settings seems to have helped although looks really basic now :| . I'm just getting used to how to use things work now but someone has mentioned equipping different armour drops your hitpoints, i equipped some free stuff and my hitpoints started flashing as though I was about to die! I think this needs to be looked as changing from 'normal' gear to putting on armour shouldn't really have to require you to eat food just to get your health up again.
@ Dragon 30211..again. Just realised if someone had 99 def and 99 attack thier lvl would be 200....sorry only went by my level :| . I do agree with you that all maxed levels should be higher than those with only 2 99's, 1 being defence.

Okay, so I think everyone can agree that Jagex has dropped the ball once again here. This account that I have has been a member only for a few months and I signed up for the beta awhile ago when the sign up first came out. When I logged into the beta it says I am NOT legible for the beta. I don't see how Jagex can expect to compete with the bigger better games out there when there beta can't even work. Good luck Jagex, you need it

@sparkly if you had 99 def then they would take your def and either your att or str and add them together then add 2 to make you lvl 200 so im sorry it is not right or fair the demean the time and effort it took max combat ppl to get that lvl in the way they are doing.....now on the monsters love how some now have different attack styles besides just melee.....i agree with all that state the armor when removed shouldnt lower your hp to where you have to eat to get your health back to full....makeing everything multi is another problem i have especially on tasks if you have steel dragons and you do your task in brimhaven you will have so many dragons on you that you will be wasteing your time and potions.
@sparkly its ok i had to have it pointed out myself that it wasnt just 2 combat 99's that made the 200 it had to be defense and one other combat 99

Just signing up for the beta doesnt guarantee that you'll get a spot in it. Jagex automatically let everyone with 12+ months of consecutive membership into the beta, and then they picked 50k more players randomly after that. Signing up to be eligible for selection doesnt mean that you definitely get picked. I didnt even get in and I have been playing since 2005, but because I took a break from membership, they passed me over...poor player service in my opinion.
I'd also like to voice my negative feelings on the new combat level system...I think it will be counter-productive. They want to make it so that it accurately represents player damage potential...but now half the players will be maxed out, making it really ambiguous as to how powerful anybody is.
Jagex: "Everyone is special!"
Current 138s: "Which is another way of saying no one is."

Out of all things in this beta, the most troubling definitely has to be the new combat level system. It is not right that someone can get 99 defence and any other one skill in combat to 99, and have a maxed combat level. If you have 99 attack and 99 defence, you are not nearly as powerful as someone who has 99 attack, strength, defence, prayer, and summoning, so you should not have the same combat level as them. I agree with what other people have been saying about the new combat level system, it needs to be fixed, the system before wasn't terribly complicated in my opinion, the best thing to do would be rework the current system to fit mage and range so that they don't become useless to the combat level due to melee stats.
Also it sounded like the main purpose of the rework was to combat people from powerful pures such as 76ers, but since they always kept their defence low anyways, it will actually help them more than anything since now they can have 99 attack strength range mage summoning and constitution, and still be around 140 with 50 defence

Thank you rav3nl.unatic, that is the point of a beta.. TEST and DISCUSS.. don't complain, grumble or just be resistant. If you have been accepted, please try to be honest and constructive of your thoughts. this is all of our game and don't waist their time please. They have to read all of this and it is just plain silly if they have to read," wasn't eligible, you suck, or I can't believe your changing (change is ineveitable), this isn't to cry about, but to help all of us make our game we pay for something better. Please help to do that.
