This post may be somewhat redundant with someone else, but after about 20 pages of why didn't I get picked I gave up reading to find out. Here are my first observations/suggestions:
Problem:
- HP/armor interaction is quite strange. When you put on gear, your HP capacity increases but your actual HP does not. When you consume food to max your HP and subsequently take the armor off or switch armor your HP is reduced to the max capacity of the remaining armor. When you replace the armor you just removed or switched, you DO NOT get this HP back. Basically, switching armor consumes life points. If you take all of your armor off and replace it, even after consuming food to fill your health completely, it appears as if you are committing suicide more or less. This should not be.
Proposed solution:
Create a relativity ratio of health/max health that the armor abides by. Basically, if you are hurt before you take your armor off and your heart appears half full - the same should be true when you take your armor off. Similarly, if your health is near full before you put on your armor, it should be after you put your armor on. (Does that make sense?)
Preferential matter:
The actions book is a pain, especially with regard to the formerly amicable spells book. The simplistic icons simply must return. Scrolling through a menu is far too time consuming. I am sure a new board of icons will be most preferred over the scrolling list utilized in the skill advance guides. I like the tabbing distinctions for the type of actions available; however, i would suggest that the most common selected choices be displayed next to the tab. If the player would like to access the full menu of abilities, they would have the option of clicking the tab to see a full list of icons in a format similar to the former mage/prayer selection menu.
Hope this was helpful!!
Love, Elfy.
