The one glitch I've found so far: When you wear torva your life points are supposed to go up and when they start to, the health icon starts flashing red like you are low health instead of higher health (which should still be green.)

It's a beta their will be lag within the system. Do to the fact that they probably are not using the best servers to host it. However jagex will probably try to resolve this issue within a couple of days or maybe even tonight or tomorrow. But jagex also stated they are still working out some issues and i see lagg as one of them with their beta servers.

It's all the ******* same you moron. Swinging your sword, or shooting a bow or casting spells. It's all the same dude. It's not boring, if they get bored easily then thats their problem. I like the combat right now, I could care less on how it would "look." I mean yes the update has some cool moves, but none the less it's training. Of COURSE it's going to be boring. People need to learn how to be patient

I havent had any lag what so ever...guess im a lucky one :P
But serious, hats off to Jagex on this one...ruining rs with all the daft stuff theyve had in the past few weeks and they pull it back around with this :P
Im actually in love with rs more then i ever was right now with this new re work!
Fix the chat thing so i dont gotta keep clicking the chat bar to talk and its perfect!!!

Ok so it looks like the beta works way better now than it did few hours ago. I think it was fun, but also not that big of a difference. Yes, of course you'll have new abilities etc it it felt like those didn't make that big of an change/impact. The biggest difference is the ultimate abilities but those also feel more like a new kind of special attacks.
The biggest problem with the new system I recognized while playing (I played only for 1-2 hours after in a lag free server) was the using of hot keys and typing message. Choosing if you wanted to type a message or use a hot key was quite hard sometimes, especially if u wanted to use the hot key after you had sent a message. Also I don't know why, but it looks like the hot key "+" was unable to use. On my keyboard + is next to 0, where I also have symbols ? and \ on the same key. The game just kept telling me I couldn't pick that key as my hot key. Idk if it's because of my (Finnish) keyboard or something else.

Its pretty hard to keep up with all the different colors of the different kinds of hits when your doing pvp.
Also, the new combat level calculator is a bit misleading. I liked the old one where it was prestigious to have a high cb. Now everybody has a pretty high cb when they may or may not be that powerful. I think jagex should leave the old cb calculator cuz its a better, if not exactly accurate, gauge of lethality.
