Before I get into my opinion on and observations of the Combat Beta, I apologize ahead of time, if there are details that I have missed. I'm not looking for unnecessary arguments. With that being said, I want everyone involved in the development of this Beta to know that it is very impressive. Like any other content, there are good and bad aspects to it. I love the animations; they are so realistic. The dual wielding is epic, and it looks boss. It's nice to see my virtual fingers, gripping my weapons. The stances inside and outside of combat are exceptional, and the ability to sheath weapons/shields is one of the coolest things I've seen throughout my 8 Runescape years. Unfortunately, I believe the combat abilities could be improved. For example, they could require specific weapons to use (similar to special attacks). This would make many weapons worth using or keeping that may otherwise become obsolete. In addition, the constitution abilities can be used at low levels. I think these should require higher levels, because I feel that the lifepoints gained by armor make the constituion skill fairly irrelevant. You can be one hit without wearing armor, so constitution doesn't help much. I think that the defensive abilities themselves are enough incentive to train defence. I don't think armor should require higher levels to wear, because that is not fair or logical. That's like changing the level required to cut yews. It just doesn't make sense. Pures/hybrid are highly effected by the change in armor requirements, and the lifepoint boost provided by all armor. They are at a huge disadvantage. The entire wilderness shouldn't be multi. There definitely needs to be some changes in this Beta. In the end, I respect that a lot of people have worked really hard on this, so I realize that not everything can or will be changed. I'm also well aware of the fact that not everyone can be pleased. I just hope the developers take my comments into consideration.
