the update is good people just don't like change... which is like calling them the American congress. The problem is people are afraid to adapt to a new fighting style in which they are afraid to get owned by their friends. But if your one who has played other mmo's with an action bar and a warrior class this system is no problem for you and you can adapt easily. The problem is some runescape players play nothing but runescape and no downloadable mmo's.

It's gonna come out no matter what alot of people like it so live with it. Plus dude go play a downloadable mmo and prep up for the combat style i mean really don't complain especially if you have never tried anything different for you have no right to complain. It looks good and i play alot of games with an action bar this is a very good system. So get over the fact that they might switch things up a little. Plus they are gonna be bringing the dragon crossbow like they promised so dragon bolts will be used on that crossbow solely. Gese i swear where is the common sense in this world today.

go play a downloadable mmo to prepare for the new action bar it will make life easier.

Some people don't like other games, so that's why they stick to Runescape. It shouldn't matter what you think. They aren't afraid of they change, it's the fact of Jagex completely changing Runescape to something completely and totally different. Thats why most players don't like it. I'm one of them. This update needs to be dropped. And if Jagex is going to actually come out with this update, then I think that they should at least have a page where they could play the RS now, and then the updated version for those players that like the update.

Easily the most amusing thread in a long time. Some big, bruised egos out there atm, thinking that RS would come to a halt without their participation in the beta.

OMFG the beta is absolute epic! love the task bar, love the combat...love the new moves...! everything about it is amazing...!
The only thing ive got a problem with is you have to click the chat bar to start typing all the time, other then that absolute perfection!!!

dude there's nothing wrong with the update its a big change so what. There's nothing wrong with the big change get over it. Gese if every other game had that attitude we wouldn't be anywhere. There would be no cod series. There would be no big chapter updates for games. There would be no hd graphics. I mean come on you literally sound like the American Government who could use a major overhaul right now. Plus i agree with jagex the combat system that is currently in effect is boring. That's why most people quit runescape. They are trying to bring those people back by implementing a new system in which will make players more interactive with an exciting combat experience that doesn't involve one boring attack style.
