I am sure nobody is going to read this but if you do please take the time to understand what I am saying.

I would like to say that Combat beta is a big step in "evolution"
There are a lot of things going wrong in the beta I'm afraid.
Players, now I know you guys always want a quick buck, but now more than half of the players are resorting to scamming by "real rs" trading for Christmas crackers. I've come across many players mass scamming.
We came to beta to test play combat and I go to all the combat locations and they are empty....
Everyone is in the GE buying selling not playing. There is a sure amount of complaining but to be honest nobody is diving into the understanding of what's changing.

I like the new armor ratings how they change your HP but equipping something and dropping to a fraction of your health is rather burdening when you're a hybrid.

I am still not sure why but skills do very little to bring exp making their use only for a quick battle. It took me 2 hours to get only 6k exp from defense. I've gotten much more than that at bandits in the regular Runescape game.

I'm not sure if the level cap would be permanent but i would like to see the level cap raised to 1000 if it's possible. I'm only lvl 104 and I'm near the 200 mark already. That level is a CAP and nothing more than a burden on players. Castle wars made that very clear as 1 lvl 200 was much weaker than another 200, making levels seems useless.

The massive amounts of mob changes.
Jagex I did notice the monsters were using spells when they have a history of only using melee. I don't agree with this since now almost every monster uses magic! This takes away from preparation and makes using prayers useless.
Prayer has no skills? Jagex this is a bit unfair since prayer is the back bone of combat for players like me!
Prayer should allow us to use aid spells for our allies since no skills currently do that other than Constitution.
Prayer should be the possible healer class. Thanks

So far this is an interesting event to be sure. I remember the jump from classic and this to me speaks of it. My biggest complaint is the magic interface as of yet. If I want to teleport, I want to teleport, I don't want to have to search for city listing(Makes the home tele's seem laggy too). Same as picking through the different types of spells I feel like auto casting. Keep the magic separate.
Next the specials take forever to charge, in castle wars and training on random creatures I had taken out whatever I was fighting before I even had a chance to fire it off. Then it was already draining by the time I was looking for something else to strike down. As far as castle wars go, all the little things on screen did result in supper laggy reactions. Also I've yet to find a special that takes the place of the basic usefulness of the enchanted Excalibur. This update makes that fabled blade pretty useless beyond it's whip like stats.
What would be nice to see is a base adrenaline charge. After all, I'm a hero, my adrenaline's already pumping 24-7. After hundreds of quests I should be able to call upon some innate ability to heal when needed, rather than having to gank a cake at the local market.
The only other odd thing I noticed while betaing was items in my bank were in note form upon first transition. But this went away when I withdrew and redeposited them. I've noticed also the exp reduction for grinding on weak monsters and that gives me very mixed feelings. Sure it forces the us to hunt the strongest of the strongs, but the root of my memory starts at beating up cows. Further it would cheapen the reward of those slayer tasks that force me to fight those 30 lvl difference monsters.
It's nice to hold a second weapon other than defender or shield but my eyes still stare longingly at the Elvin kingdom, and wonder where the odd man with the katana down by the docks hails from. Please show me the world in updates to come.

Okay, I have a few things I think should be tweaked...
1. All of the 'abilities' should be sorted in order of basic-threshold-ultimate. Right now it is a little difficult to find abilities to add to my bar.
2. With the change it seems like all the areas are multi combat and while I was slaying Grotworms, they were all attacking me which make it hard to get a lot done.
3. Every time I logged in I had a really low health bar and had to eat about 4 sharks.
4. I don't understand why the number of health was multiplied by 100. It really doesn't even make sense because it isn't similar to the old health. The first change just added a 0 (i.e. used to be 74 now 740) and it was at least synced to the level of my heart.
5. If I don't use an ability or I forget, I hit horrible. The only way to kill something is to use an ability. I think it should be like the 'special attacks' where you can still hit well without the abilities but they just add an extra special amount of injury.
6. I think it is really unnecessary to inflate all the combat levels. With almost a decade of knowing what level 70 means, it will be confusing to now relate those to a level 130 -- I honestly don't even know how it would compare.
7. and MOST IMPORTANT::: I don't like that whatever I gain in the worlds I don't get to keep. I have been training slayer all day an if that means I lose all the EXP, I think that sucks...
I think that's all I have right now. I may reply again.

Okay, I've tested this and liked it a lot. I loved the abilities and how I actually felt like doing something while I was in a combat. I've already found some favourites and this seems to be a good thing to me.
One thing bugs me though. In PVP I get killed all the time. I'm using melee and now, if I was getting killed by mages, it would make sense. But I get killed by rangers. I don't understand how a ranger can hit 1000+ every hit while stunning me. I'm using Dharok's and it just... rangers? So yea, something is seriously wrong with ranged.
But I really like this new system and can't wait for it to come :)

i do like it but the combat beta has its faults one of which is that you cant make off hand weaponsplease fix this when it becomes normal rs (if it does,ive noticed that players that have been on rs for ages dont like the EoC) secondly i think you made rock crabs to strong. they used to be the ultimate training device but now theyre really hard to beat. thirdly i think (like many other people)that we should still be able to hit high without using an ability. another monster idea enchanted weapons (sword, spear, bow(seperate))

The beta is soo sick! i cant wait for it to be implemented into normal servers. This is the best thing u guys have ever done to make the game more interesting and more up to date with other MMOS! its not gona be WOW or anyother BIG MMOs but for a browser game it looks AMAZING!

To the idiots talking about XP being bad. You should have READ about the update and watched the videos. They have changed it so if you kill something considerably different to your combat level. YOU WILL GET APPALLING XP. They are trying to get players to kill bigger, harder monsters for massive XP drops. They want to stop people
AFKing at Yaks or Bandits and train on high risk high reward monsters which are actually a challenge...

The health has not been multiplied, the armour now has health boosts. If you did not import your save every time you play the beta you would not have this problem. You only need to log in once then you dont have to import again.

Your saying because all the monsters use mage, prayer is useless? You can still use protect from mage or piety or turmoil or soul spilt. It is anything but useless. Also prayer is NOT the backbone of combat and doesn't deserve any abilities. It would make it even more OP in some cases than it currently is if there were prayer abilities which required 90 prayer etc.
