Deicide - to answer your question about reset stats - yes when you log in through beta just dont import your character and it will take you to Taverley as brand new level 3 :D I did this first try lol - oh the memories :D

love the new animations and abiltys
but but but
with all the combat related stuff now in the buttom left side of the screen and your prayer and hp in top right side of the screen i found in realy hard to look at my abilety's and also focus on my hp and prayer points mabey you most think about replacing the prayer points and hp to the bottum left side of the screen also

melee is stil overpowerd against mage =(

Took some getting used to but being able to hotkey abilities should mean quicker and easier gameplay. I will miss the weapon specials especially excaliber.
One thing I don't like is every time I want to chat I have to click the chat box which is irritaing. Should just be able to type.
Also if we build up adrenalin, but don't use it can it not remain (like the old special) till you do. By the time it's built up my enemy is dead or nearly, and then it goes down with no chance really to benefit from it.
The prayer icons are changed, and the order they are in. When putting the curser over an icon sometimes get which prayer it is, many times not.
In general Jagex I think this could be a winner with a few small change's it could be awsome.

I've never really liked range as personally I found it a bit tedious but I do like it now! I dual wielded the crossbows and think the abilities are great. I do think the adrenaline bar drops a bit too quick when you go to pick up drops then find the next target but i suppose using the abilities from basic etc helps build it up quick but i think it could be slowed down a little as once it starts to drop it drops really quickly. Also on a light note, how come when you run with the crossbows wielded, your character is hunched over like they are looking for something on the floor :P .

Excuse me, but I am deeply disheartened over this. I have played this game since 2002 and been an on and off member ever since. I have watched this game evolve and develop into this wonderful masterpiece that it is and now when i sign up for the games biggest update ever and then when i go to try and use the content im not only not allowed but i havent even gotten an email yet saying that i can participate?! I have played this game for so long and have spent sooo much money being a member for more than 12 consecutive months, I've been playing since before the counter that was added to the fourms and even before loyalty points and stuff. This is unfair! I have been paying for a membership and havent been getting any of the kool benefits that come with it. Why just last month i paid for an entire months subscriptions for May and if you were to pay for the month you were suppose to get a large reward in Xp lamps and some month i beleive and i didnt get any of that! and i didnt complain then but this Combat Beta is a cannot miss oppourtunity to get ahead of everyone and i deserve that with having played this game for so many god damn years! someone please fix this or something because i am extremely disheartened

ok i'll give my 2 cents on this i think the beta is good all tho i have a problem with the chat box its annoying when trying to talk quickly when u type and hit enter nothing comes up and u realized u werent on the chat box when u typed stuff and melee is still the best forum of combat to me i dualed my friend quiet alot of time she used mage and some range i used melee and 9 times out of 10 i won

Feedback response:
"We are aware some players aren't happy with this update, but the truth is 100% of are players are using the new combat making it the most appreciated content to date, even more than the SoF."
Gotta love how they say that they listen feedback, but I think this example tells truth. For people that thinks that this beta won't be final product...yes you are right almost, but don't think that they just change alot more than tweaks and other stuff. After all Jagex says how we should feel about updates. All hail to Jamaflex.
