6. When I jumped into BETA (near GE), it took 3-4 minutes to get a HP jump (from my normal RS HP). I started fighting a lvl 60 'gnome woman' in tree gnome village (usually lvl 1) and she kicked my ass. I only had a 'mindspike' attached, but as a lvl 168, I think I should have been able to beat her.
This brings up the VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE OF:
Easy to kill low-level enemies
I do hope that not all enemies will be 'scaled according to my combat level'. There are some places where I want to be able to 'accidently click on an enemy' and be able to quickly kill it in order for me to be able to move on, and keep skilling (like farming tree patches at the Grand tree).
7. LOVED the 'item trader NPCs' in front of Lumbridge Castle. There was finally somewhere in game for me to look at, and buy, all the important/main armour. I know there is the skilling guide, but that doesn't really help players examine stats or buy them. I know that for AAAAages I had NO idea what armour to buy. Mainly because I'm a skiller, I'm not around the fighting equipment all the time, which makes it a very big hurdle to transition to fighting. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to fight if I knew what to buy, but there was never anywhere for me to go to buy stuff.I understand that this is a test run, but I would FALL IN LOVE with the new beta if the line of 'item trader NPCs' at Lumbridge castle were to permanently move to near the GE (even if they didn't sell items, but just listed them). Then there would finally be a place to get an overview of what armour is the best to buy at what level. And I wouldn't be too overwhelmed to 'get into' fighting.
