Terrible. I'v played since classic off and on and have currently been very active for the past 2 years. I have watched all the major updates come into play. RS2 has had an overall grasping/ addictive appeal to the game. I was selected for the combat beta... & I must say, I can only hope this update does not follow through. I think the only useful change that could be made is the quick keys. Being an Classic/veteran/female player, it's hard to "fit in" with the Runescape community. The female characters look awful, the chat system is entirely too complicated when actually trying to communicate & play at the same time, the locations of the different tabs are not in the most desired locations, and the movements in combat are terrible. It's like Runescape is trying to morph into their version of World of Warcraft. I absolutely hate that game! Runescape's originality and uniqueness is what made me attracted to this game. Like I said, I can only hope, this horrible update will not happen; if it does, I will resign.

To all people who hate the update.
Who created Runescape? Jagex. Who has the permission to update it to their liking? Jagex. You guys need to realize that Jagex can do what they want to do with THEIR game, not OURS. And if Runescape is ripping off WoW, then that would mean Star Wars KOTOR & KOTOR 2 are ripping off WoW.
If your gonna quit, then what does Jagex care? There are over 50 Million players on Runescape. Who cares if 5 or 500 quit?
Besides, Jagex said himself that when you do PvM, You can still battle them like you used to do and not have to use the Adrenaline. PvP is different though.

They are making the game more diverse with the addition/acknowledge of the combat triangle. This game has always been a good game, either way people will still always play this game like you said no matter what happens. I believe the Combat Update does look cool, and is fun to play around on the beta but I dont think it should actually be introduced into the game. Seems like alot of Bugs, & problems to come in the future with the new system. Also making stats higher then 99+ besides dungeoneering seems absurd & I may speak for others when I say this, Its an accomplishment to reach lv 138 and something that you work toward to show you achieved highest combat lv, with the combat level being changed to 200 and the new counting system, I feel these will cause alot of people like myself who have gotten a bunch of 99's and have worked hard at this game to eventually get the Max cape or the Completionist Cape eventually, but when things are introduced and stats are higher then 99+ that means I have to go all the way back through my 99s and get them all to the next highest level in order to get my Max Cape. Im almost done too on my way to getting it so having to start all over with all my skills not just the ones at 98 & below would really **** me off :\

I've been hearing a lot of people say that armor doesnt automatically increase your lp to max when you put it on. Is that for real, because if so I can't believe Jagex would do something that blatantly inconvenient/unrealistic.
If I put on armor in real life, I immediately gain more resistance to death. It's that simple. If I put on a bulletproof vest then someone shoots me, my body is not going not behave as if I dont have the vest on. The vest will lessen the amount of damage done to my body, and I shouldnt have to heal myself up before being shot in order to take advantage of the effectiveness of the vest.
I realize runescape is not the pinnacle of realistic gameplay, but that seriously just does not make sense, and ruins any chance that players have of successfully hybridding.

I`am just so God damn disapointed, i played this game since 2005 and i was member for like 5-6 god damn years, I watched this game evolve and change, and I werent a member for like 1-2 months, IN ENTIRE ******* 5 YEARS, and what do I get,NOTHING!
This is so stupid, constant member ship , In my opinion every one who has played this game for 5 or more years , you sould give beta invites.
