Apologies, forum mod. My posts were made in my own defense. I have a right for my opinion to be heard, without being called an idiot for it. If their posts had been hidden for their ad hominems right off, I would not have felt it necessary to respond. Clearly, I only criticize BECAUSE I have the best interests of a game I love at heart.
I enthusiastically tested Beta, and was positive about it for a long time. If those who were offering quality feedback (including good reasons for not releasing it too early) hadn't been blatantly ignored, I wouldn't be offering this feedback here, today.
In my opinion, they moved far too quickly on implementing a system that is still not fully functional, and they are updating it far too slowly. Instead, much wasted time, effort, and money is going to glitz, and unnecessary propagandist video feeds.
Immersive graphics and audio, while contributing to the feel of a game, cannot, in the end, save a game from poor gameplay mechanics.
Those are the points I wished to make; I stand by them; I have every right to voice them. And if someone happens to think I'm an idiot for it, or "crying" about it, well, that's their problem (and the problem of a lot of current Runescape's community), not mine.
