I will go buy my 90 day game card during work today for this, as I always enjoy the collectables you bring out Jagex. You should really just close squeal of fortune and open a costume and pet shop for the microtransactions. A lot of us high leveled and/or dedicated players in Runescape would have no problem buying a 5-15$ costume or special pet if the shop options would change monthly and offer new costumes. I would buy 1 costume a month. I have spent over 100$ on costumes in Guild Wars 1, and would have no problem buying a new outfit on runescape every month either.

Sounds alright I guess but I know i will not be getting it because like the other players on this forum I use debit/visa cards. I also seems to me Jagex is doing everything they can to get money, or i that just me?

Hey look! They're changing their focus from "Real World Trading to get money" to "Borderline Real World Trading to get money!"

Seriously though, it looks to be an awesome promotion, but I won't be getting one as I ALREADY PAY ONLINE. Unfair, but since one of Runescape's founding principles was fairness, I suppose that fairness is now a rare commodity.

you really need to stop spitting people in the face with these so-called "benefits".
Yeah, it works great for those living in those countries where the gamecards are already being sold and which are eligible (whoever gets to pick the eligible countries anyway? Recently the cards have gone into retail here in the Netherlands too, still not eligible as far as I can gather), but the rest of the (loyal) players get left out time after time. Personally I would have loved to be able to get the green skin, the katana would have been awesome too (don't even get me started on SoF here) and now the flaming skull too is one of the neat feats I'll never be able to use on my avatar. What does that spell? Exactly: S.U.C.K.S.
I guess it only takes a little more time & taunting for your player-base to tell you guys to go shove it, if you keep this up! I've seen many more rants like this, Jagex! When are you going to learn?!

When they first started doing these pre-paid-win-an-item card deals they PROMISED that everything would eventually be available to everyone.. not just those who can buy the cards.
So far I've not seen one item from the card deals available to anyone else and yet they keep adding more and more and mooooore items to card payers.
Guess I can assume it was another lie/promise broken. Seems to be a lot of that going on.
What is the deal with all these hand-outs to pre-paid cards anyways? Does buying and using one cancel out your better member price or something? Why are they trying SO hard to get people to go buy these cards??

Really? Are you certain?
It just seems all wrong to me. I say that they ought to make these items available to people who were members at the times of these promotions. Then simply put in a cosmetic item RWT shop. Sure it would be rwt, but it wouldn't harm gameplay like their other cash-seeking attempts have been. It wouldn't be fair, but it would be fairer than what's going on now.
