Like the SoF and the additional spins for members, this is just another attempt to get more F2P to commit to P2P. Its these little updates like "buy-able spins" and "flaming skulls" that reassure me that your company is avaricious for money, and you neglect long term clients you have, like myself.
Yes, I understand there are people who have payed for the game for years and seeing my status is F2P its difficult to tell how long I have played the game for. Since 2001, the game has gone through ups and downs, yet the last year has been the worst yet.
Nobody at the Jagex will say how much they miss all the P2P bots. From the gaming perspective, justice is meagerly served (with bots making their triumphant comeback), but from the company's hit on profit, this is the insipid attempt to gain what was lost.
Good update idea, but a terrible mode of its inclusion into the game. From this update, its safe to say you have angered a VERY large portion of your long term committed players. The originals.

Okay this is BULL! I checked three different Game stops and they don't even carry runescape membership cards so WT*???? I got a 90 day card from Target and I still didn't even get a mask. BULL JAGEX!! fix it!! If you buy a game card for 90 days REGARDLESS OF WHERE ITS FROM you should get the damn mask. I've been playing Runescape for six years, and this update has been complete CRAP!

will i was thinking how come only people who buy member ship cards can get items like the skull what about us mouthly pays who use a cred. card to pay for are membership we would be wasteing 24$ just to get the skull or have to turn off are cred. card member ship :) ty if you read this --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love this, but I have a problem, I am planning to buy rs membership 6 month for 4, I was one of the members selected for this deal since I bought it during December for the ice mask, and now I am going to buy the 6 month for 4, but is it still possible of me earning a fire skull mask by buying the 6 month for 4, this is more months of membership then the 90-100 day card that you are saying. If a Jagex moderator sees this plz respond, and ty ^_^
