For all of you recurring members complaining, read the FAQ. You too can buy a card from a retailer, apply it to your account, and your recurring membership will kick back in after the 90 or 100 days.
The point of this is to increase in-stores sales of the game cards to meet expected sales quotas with the retailers. Otherwise, GameStop and the other stores might opt to no longer carry RS game cards at all, if all the RS cards are doing are taking up space on the rack.

Yeah... I personally think that it should be for anyone with a membership within those dates. Maybe people who have recently renewed /and/ long term members/ credit card memberships could get it. That way, everyone who pays wins! Not just people who buy from a certain shop, using a certain method.

Thanks. Also, why don't all cards 90 day + work? I got mine from WH Smiths. Well, it would have been quite inconvienient not to get it from there- I didn't realise that a different shop made so much difference! I mean, where I am, other stores sell the cards. Sometimes they aren't in stock in those listed shops, or there aren't any us- Lots of GAME and gamestation stores recently closed, and I feel sympathy for players like Intrigue.
Here in England, some supermarkets (like Tesco) sell them, along with non-gaming specific stores (and other videogame stores such as Gamestation). We pay the same price for the same card in most stores (although Tescos stocks 100 day £15 ones instead) and we don't get the same thing online! From my perspective, it makes no sense (and is pretty annoying!)
From what I've heard and seen, the reccurring credit card members are extremely loyal to keep buying. Why not reward them with more than loyalty points?
