Wow! :D I already knew that the new skill was Divination was the new skill because of Twitter :) However, Divination came to my minds as a possible skill long before they actually told it was :) Don't worry, I can't read minds :P However, I am really excited for this update and I can't wait to try it out and enjoy it with my friends! :D It was also quite suprising and astonishing that Jagex took Runescape 3 to the Press. It just shows how dedicated they are to Runescape and they fact that they really care about the game. I can't wait to play Runescape for many more years to come. :)

Divination is the attempt to gain insight into a question or situation by way of an occultic, standardized process or ritual. Used in various forms throughout history, diviners ascertain their interpretations of how a querent should proceed by reading signs, events, or omens, or through alleged contact with a supernatural agency.

Divination can be seen as a systematic method with which to organize what appear to be disjointed, random facets of existence such that they provide insight into a problem at hand. If a distinction is to be made between divination and fortune-telling, divination has a more formal or ritualistic element and often contains a more social character, usually in a religious context, as seen in traditional African medicine. Fortune-telling, on the other hand, is a more everyday practice for personal purposes. Particular divination methods vary by culture and religion.

I hate it when J-mods comment on forums saying things like "wow! im looking forward to this" or "This update is rad!" its like..you're a J-mod..you work AT Jagex headquarters, you already know what's up. don't act like you're just another player who's oblivious to Jagex's plans.

Yes, because obviously every employee within a company knows everything that's going on...

Mod Mark knows what the game's new features will be, but that doesn't mean he can't get excited about audio, graphics, player interaction and other things which are left to the other teams working on the game.

I am sooooooo jealous of those journalists. Divination...this could go in some very interesting directions. I'm psyched to see how everything plays out and get onto RS3 Finally! Any clues on when all Members might get access?

A few things:

Firstly: "and reveal the name of the newest skill" I think you ment 'and reveal the name of the skill that is to be released shortly'

Secondly: You didn't need to reveal the new skill's name; we already new that from IGN.

Thirdly: What kind of a name is Divination? I bet the same idiot who came up with Dungeoneering and changing Hitpoints to Constitution came up with that one.

Fourthly: what will happen to Comp cape people?

Fifthly: Just release it already! You said early 2013! It's May: that means it's medium (5th month is May and assuming four months for early, medium and late means that May is the first month of medium).

Sixthly: "Has to do with the gods" Well, duh. You said it was associated with lore.

Does making deceptive and downright stupid statements come naturally to you?

1. It's the newest skill in that it's the newest skill to be announced. Obviously Jagex have made that the cut-off point in their categorising of a skill as 'new'. Your point is needlessly pedantic anyway.

2. IGN aren't the mouthpiece for Jagex and they certainly aren't the most reliable of sources. Those of us who know that - mostly people who aren't completely naive - welcome an official confirmation.

3. The name's fine. Who honestly cares? Yet more pedantry from you.

4. Why would they release an unfinished skill?
