Point taken chaos but do you really think zamorak did it because he cares about his followers? Doesn't sound like Zamorak! And the atomic bombs were overkill!

I would agree that dropping TWO atomic bombs was overkill. Yes, I do believe that Zamorak was trying to eliminate any threats to his army when he destroyed Forinthry. Maybe he didn't have any love for many of the individuals in his army, but without any followers he wouldn't have been capable of accomplishing his goals. If I had to guess, then I would say that Zamorak loves his followers in a similar way that a president or prime minister would love their people. Love is a terrible word to use here, but I can't really think of a better one to use. I do think that Zamorak has strong bonds with some of his closer followers, such as Hazeel, like mentioned in the god letters (i know that they aren't canon).

2) What has lead you to that decision?
Zaros and his followers, such as Azzanadra, seem to have helped the player more than the other gods if you have finished all the quests. Through things to make the player more powerful, such as ancient magicks (although they're not nearly as powerful now as pre-eoc, specifically blood spells healing 5% of dmg. versus 100%) and the ancient curses prayers (which are still fairly useful), it would seem ungrateful to not side with the Empty Lord. Sliske may or may not still side with Zaros, but that doesn't matter really, the only thing that matters is that Azzanadra most likely will side with the purely "Zaros" god emissaries, so that's where I will side with.
3) How do you think you'll let that choice affect your story?
I already have a Zaros teleport from Solomon's store and I typically use the nex armor (Zaros-aligned). When the Zaros emissary comes, perhaps I'll use ancient magicks more? (even though I currently just use reg. magicks because I'm not entirely sure a 5% heal from blood spells is worth the extra cost for no extra damage). I will say that I do like the graphics for the ancient spells though, they are awesome like always (especially the shadow spells = 3).

Thought this was going to be the new skill, but can't really see how it links to Divination :( oh well. Still looks interesting! I will be looking at all the emissaries before choosing a faction!

Oh and on the task things they give out.. are they like a lore-friendly replacement for Daily Challenges?

Glad to see the Ranged Slayer Dungeon is on the way! But seriously.. where are the skills at??? I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.

When I first joined in October, I was determined not follow any god, like in real life. However, when the emissaries were announced in this month's "Behind the Scenes", I noticed what Armadyl supposedly stood for: serenity, freedom, and a strong, noble outlook. Plus he's claimed to be a God of Law and Justice.

Of course, that's not much to go on right now, so I'm really eager to speak to the aviansie. Either way, I hold those qualities in high regard, and so I think I may be more inclined towards him than the other factions.

As for if my alignment will affect how I role-play the game... I'm not sure. I generally try to play the straight and narrow (and mutter under my breath when I have to steal).

I guess I'll have to wait and see. All I know is that I am really going to enjoy this update.

A1: Godless.

A2: They appear to be the faction that follow Guthix's plan of keeping the world away from the influences of the Gods. However, I know little of some of the Gods philosphies, so will listen to what all the emissaries have to say in the interest of expanding my knowledge and aiding the beings of Gielinor in coexisting peacefully.

A3: I will continue to do my thing, and leave others to do theirs, unless my help is needed in restoring balance. We don't want another God War.

To answer the questions Mod Drebin asked on page 3, I am going to follow Zaros(Does my name give it away?). The reason for following him? He is mysterious, and powerful, and no one (at the moment) knows if he is truly good or evil. How do I think this decision will change my story? I have no idea. This is going to be a fun update. :D
