BTS Video 54: God Emissaries

1) Who do you think you'll align to?
-The Godless, of course.
2) What has lead you to that decision?
-Unlike a lot of the previous Godless supporters, it really doesn't have anything to do with Guthix's wishes. I simply dislike the idea of any god dominant over Gielinor- I'd think of that as, essentially, an odd form of theocracy, a form of government which I am less than a fan of. In addition, I don't have particularly strong attachments to any god, and one or two has already managed to tick me off- Bandos's actions during The Chosen Commander were quite irritating, and Saradomin, along with many of his followers, manages to come off as a self-righteous tool.
On top of all of that, if I join the Godless, I may get a chance to dance the spears with every god. How much fun would that be?
3) How do you think you'll let that choice affect your story?
-It certainly won't define it. I don't wish to see any god dominating Gielinor, but that doesn't mean I won't work with a god's faction should our interests coincide. If a faction is attempting to rebuild a shrine or artifact, I'm going along with them because I like building stuff and whatever they end up making could have interesting benefits for me. Similarly, if a faction (even the godless) is going to destroy texts or information or buildings or anything of significance or interest to me, I'm going to beat them down.
My allegiance to the Godless essentially just means that I'm not about to go razing and enslaving a city 'for da gloreh of [X/Y god]'. Although I do hope that there won't be too much of that in the future; conflicts tend to be long and irritating when they concern little more than ceaseless conquests fueled by mindless zealotry.

1) I'll have to choose Armadyl or Saradomin. Armadyl is definitely my first choice as he stands for justice but at the same time, does not want a God Wars to break out. Saradomin is a little over-zealous, but I still find him interesting.
2) Armadyl has been one of those 'silent' gods with an interesting back-story. I'm very much interested to see how he will return after the devastating loses he endured during the first God Wars! Time for some payback!
3) I don't know how it will affect my story, but I trust my fellow Armadyllians won't be disappointed with what you all have in store for us.
