Reference your comments lord saran one some people like funny quests and also not everyone is lucky enough to have the quest cape either! Also it was the dwarf quest we voted for on youtube! And jagex for starters said that the dwarf quest wouldn't be released till after the debut of RS3! Also they've made it completely clear on a number of occasions that the elf quest would not be released till 2014! It's nice to have some lighthearted content especially after what I think was the most depressing spring event in rs history!Good content but depressing! Why did Jagex wait so long to add pork as food to the game anyway! My pig pet will be joining my rs family along with mackers, sparkles, baby troll, my three types of fish, corgi, raven, crow, cat, and eek with pride! oh and one platypus and some unhatched god bird eggs! and my two solomon's store pets skypouncer and the wolf one that I can't remember the name of! oh and last but not least a penguin and several rune guardians I love the rs pets in case you couldn't tell! Can't wait to add combat pig to that list!

I sort of understand where saren is coming from.

The main issue those of us with quest capes have is umm lets see...this is what the second quest this year and we are already into the seventh month? so thats 5 quests that we havent had and also means we have been waiting 5 months for a quest update.

Also the reworking of quests took up more time and added incomplete questlines, something jagex already has lots of.

That said i am excited they actually released a quest and proved they havent forgotten what they are/how to design them.

You know what cardinal I do partially see what you mean but at least you're polite and constructive about it! Some people like the reworks some don't! I for one like them except for the demon slayer rework but it's more because I liked the old lore better and thought the quest itself was seriously dumbed down than that there was really anything wrong with the quest itself(why not make the demon slayer a descendant of wally)! Incomplete quest lines maybe but I feel the ozan quests make the whole desert storyline more interesting, and that storyline was nowhere near complete(haven't even released menaphos yet do the contact quest menaphos is supposed to be part of the storyline)! Also the rune quests give you a different perspective on the the different religious orders in a more major way!For years lore stated Zamorackian wizards burned the original tower down intentionally! Now we know not only was it an accident but the zamorackians were not to blame and also banned from the tower by the very order that was the real cause of that tragic accident! Hey and think about why do the next big quest in the current graphics system?Better to save it for rs3!

True that is smart to save the big quests for RS3. My biggest issue with the reworks have been the level focus being low level ftp and then low level members on the double bills, while the lore was remeniscent of a higher quality quest, course the addition of a slow quest year has also made my drive slow as I love quests.

On the desert series the addition of the ozan series kinda confused me and i believe sorta breaks certain lore components by the the devourour and menaphos(or was it sophanem) work in, but it does add a bit more. I do expect a rework to make the lore from ozans fit.

On the desert series i am totally intrigued by the buildings and pyramids in southern sophanem that we cannot yet reach, probably to be reached with the ozan line.

And demon slayer I agree was horrible throughout. They turned the lore into nothing and also made kinda a miniquest or w/e those are called.

I understand you're feelings about the low level quests but I think they made them low level so more people would do them! You always hear people complaining that there aren't enought ftp or low level quests! Hey cardinal rember the end cutscene to the second ozan quest! I think it's basicaly a lead in to icthlarin's little helper since it show amascut changing into the wanderer and entering the tent where the little helper's quest is started. Also while the player character him or herself is not aware of it as of the quest the connection to menaphos is that jabari basically killed the emir and not only may the ruler of menaphos be aware of his actions but they want to take over al-kharid and are in league with amascut! Just remember chronologically the ozan quests take place before the other desert quests!

Hey and cardinal I just thought of something! Your complaint about the lore components and story not matching up! Look at the requirements for the World wakes! they made the requis simple so lots of players could do the quest but realistically the requirements make no sense storywise. And the recommendation to do the other quests still doesn't excuse it!
