Ugh... I'm sorry, I enjoyed the squeal of fortune at first because it was a cutesy little diversion you could do for a minute or so every day... The tickets? Okay that was fine, no problem there really. Buyable spins? The line was drawn there. This is an absolutely disgusting way to celebrate a huge milestone that only a select few games will ever achieve. Next thing you know, there will no longer be holiday events, it'll just be a cosmetic item available on the SoF for a select amount of weeks as an "uncommon" reward. This really opened my eyes as to how greedy Jagex truly is.

After a long break from runescape, i returned to find giant changes, this break was 5 years mind you, and i was at first amazed by gettin free stuff on SoF, i also noticed i now was basically being forced to surrender my email, a move old jagex cared less about. Also i noticed video ads being played randomly at log in, these are a major annoyance, as some are even a minute long for a product i could care less about. Honestly this new jagex is trading in their old morals

I fear Jagex are failing to realise that the basic idea of business is to make money through customers wanting what a company is selling, hence "pre-rs" being so prosperous in both company side profits and a great community because of the game itself.
This I fear this is themselves shooting themselves in the foot.

Gf Runescape. Jagex, just admit it. You F***ed up this year. Pretty hard. Not a lot of people applauded you for the armour update. Sof was bad from exp, but now 200m!? Wow, just wow. Then the Crucible. Lots of people used the glitch to exploit it for money, and most of them probably got away (besides the dumbf***s who used it to get 2147m). The price to get in is outrageous just to go in and get butt ***** by a level 138 with full gano and storm of armadly with his steel titan. Now. Lets see what the Evolution of Combat will be like. Most likely going to be ****** and you're probably going to have about 5k people in there actually testing it because there are so many bots that they will get in (maybe i don't know if they have to log into a certain world) but still. Jagex, admit it. You ****** up and you can't do anything about it anymore.
If anyone supports this copy and paste it all over the forums so maybe they will stop F***ing up and do something good for once this year. -._-

I don't mind the update frankly- it doesn't cause any harm to the way I, or others play the game. The items it gives don't cause a huge impact, but make a nice bonus.
Those who want to buy spins can do so in my opinion- it seems reasonable to leave that choice to them. I wish anyone who earns spins or buys them; or anyone who just uses the free ones luck with winning this time around.
It seems reasonably nice- although, I do understand why some may dislike it.
I do however believe that money from it will go towards RuneScape and Jagex. This can help improve the game.
I also believe that it's similar to buying membership. You pay for a one-off service each time you want it.
