When I started playing RS, one of the things that I got a lot out of was walking from one place to another, it gave me chance to look around, find different places, meet different people.

It's no wonder that the RS community nowadays isn't actually a community when they can just tele from one place to another without having any interaction with other players.

It's no surprise to me that the number of players on line at any one time is dropping, if a new player has to work for something they don't want to play and when they've done everything easy, they stop playing. Maybe Jagex ought to stop pandering to the players who ask for everything to be given to them on a plate and start looking back at what they were doing right when we had many more players on line.

Lodestones are pretty awesome, more of a convenience thing, but it encourages and gives newer players an easy route to get back and explore all the content at those places!

As for the new boss.... looks freaking awesomeeeeeee!

As long as they expand the functionality of the teleportation items we have now, I have no problem with this. I dislike having to teleport to my house to teleport to canifis, and teleport to Sarim to charter to Tirrawyn (I only go there for the occasional penguin, and my crystal ran out of power long ago). The wildy one will be useful for warbands and penguins I suppose, but I think that lodestone would have been better suited for North-Central Karamja or Ape Atoll.
As far as the size of the world, I have some suggestions on how to make it bigger without actually increasing the landmass. I'll outline them in a separate thread in Suggestions.

Oh, and I'd also like to point out, to the person that said it discourages adventuring: you do have to travel to the lodestone manually at least once, so you do get to experience the surrounding content at some point. Some places, like Tirrawyn, are just too inaccessible right now considering the mass of new content that has yet to be put there.

Woooooooooot awesome update :D !

I finally don't have to walk 100 km anymore :P

Ferenc2017 :)

You don't have to walk that far anyway there are plenty of teleports already and the game world is tiny. Takes 10 minutes to run from 1 end to the other.

Please, please, please put requirements to these.

Make it to where you have to complete certain quests for that area.

Require you to build them with a high construction level and magic level.

Make it cost thousands of law runes, 20 limestone bricks, and a magic stone plus some special material for each location, such as an elf crystal for Isafdar, to build them.

It makes no sense to just add these to the game like you did with tool belts. Let us use your construction and magic skills to give us an advantage. Let Quests be more rewarding instead of less rewarding by having quest requirements for building them. Please, do not just let these be added just to kill off more content!

I would honestly love these load stones, IF YOU PUT THESE KIND OF REQUIREMENTS ON THEM, please do not just give them to people. Think about past content and what you are doing to questers before you add this.

My only real grevence with this update; eagle's peak, i have the feeling its going to severely effect the market for Kyatt furs, which have already taken a hit as the scrolls aren't as effective anymore.

however i do think a teleport around the Fortheny area is a good step in the right direction.

If you're going to do that, make it a level requirement, not a material/fiscal drain. That's not necessary.
