I am ok with most of these lodestone locations, but I do not feel the necessity for two in particular.
Ooglog
, and
Tyrannwn
.

I feel that running from the spirit tree or using the mobilizing armies teleport and running is effective enough in getting to Ooglog, and if that wasnt enough, there is also the glider option as well.

And I do not see the point in adding a tyrannwn lodestone. Perhaps, It would be more effective to add tyrannwn to the teleport crystal instead?
1. It would give an added bonus to those who already have the teleport crystal and motivate people who want it to do the necessary quests to get it.
2. It would also keep the lodestone map from becoming too cluttered. (I dont know about anyone else, but I find that I occasionally click on the wrong lodestone tele and sometimes must tele again :P )

Ok, as many other have pointed out: This was not necessary. You want to know how I get around these days?

-Fairy ring once a week for Miscellania.
-Elf Crystal once in a blue moon.
-Charter Ships for Brimhaven on my farm runs.

Everything else? Lodestones. I can't remember the last time I actually used the runes in my bank for teleporting. Because I don't.

This all is depending on your way of playing the game and variability of thinking. I for example use what is best or next to best, or how I feel:

-- I rather use spirt tree to Etceteria than fairy ring to Miscellania, a habit
-- I luse lunars to Waterbirth for quick acces to Rellekka or Fremmy islands - this I don't think Fremmy loadstone will change as it is slower
-- I use lunars to Barbarian Outpost and further to Lighthouse, or game necklace if inventory space requires
-- I use lunars spellbook swap, or modify teletab for Trollheim depending on the need of inventory space
-- I use Port Sarim loadstone/charter ships or TokKul-Zo/fairy ring and run for red sandstone depending on if I have bank close to star location or not
-- I use Fally or Edgeville lodestones to Ice mountain or Living Rocks, but I often use glory for Edgeville as it's closer to bank
-- I use ectophial to get to farming and Fenkenstrains, as getting there via Poh requires using lodestone to Yanille first, but I might use Canifis portal to mushroom patch instead of fairy ring, although fairy ring would be faster -- the odd exception
-- I take out Wiked hood for Sawmill peng or Karamja star but I never used it for Sawmill challege as I valued more inventory space
-- for Digiste I use the pendant, and for Exam Center I use lunars spellbook swap
-- for peng in Brimhaven I use spirit tree, for peng in Musa Point I use glory

and so on, and so on...

Nothing can ever devalue what you have achieved unless you mentally let it. No new content devalues what has been, it just may change it.

Hey idiots,

Here's a suggestion, if you don't want lodestones, or hell, anything that gives a ton of xp or stuff like that, DON'T ******* USE IT. Are you seriously that braindead. Oh wait, in the end you guys who don't like it will still use it anyways. Yeesh, you guys are almost as bad as the CoD community.

Edit: No community is as bad as the CoD community.

Well... new loadstones in convenient areas is nice, but you have to take the fact it does make past teleportation items semi-useful or not worth training for. It would be nice if the loadstones were given magic level requirements so players do have something to work for, but this is just my opinion.
Also, it would be helpful if there was at least a "safe barrier" around the Wildy loadstone or "immunity for 10 seconds" once you enter the wildy via loadstone. This way players have a sense of preparing in case a pker is waiting for them, or enough time to teleport out of there.

They seriously need to have a vote on the home page for every piece of content that comes into this game, you said it was OUR GAME!!!!!

WE WANT LESS LODESTONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: Reasoning:
1. Teleportation items become useless
2. It makes the game feel 1000X smaller than it is already, especially with HTML5 coming out, we will be able to see forever.
3. It makes the game feel super short, being able to get everywhere instantly, play 07, you can't run from Lumbridge to Varrock without losing all of your energy, last time I ran out of energy in the live game, I was doing Monkey Madness!

Before you say go play 07 then, No. I prefer the game with all my crap on it.

As much as I hate this kind of posting, I have to agree. If you don't like the lodestones, don't use them. As Elipile outlined in the post above, most of the lodestones have much more convenient alternatives anyway.

As for the new ones:

- Oo'glog: Easily accessible by charter from Sarim (either via the lodestone in Port Sarim or by the Captain's Log teleport (or of course any charter dock)). Most of the useful features of the 'town' are at the ship end anyway
- Lletya: Aside from quests, there's not really much reason to go wandering around Tirannwn aside from Hunting. Most of the useful features in the area are in Lletya or, again, accessible by charter. The teleport crystal can be easily recharged by NPC Contact
- Canifis: House teleport with a Kharyll portal near the entrance will always be quicker, although bloods aren't the cheapest of items for some people
- Wilderness: Another hotspot for pkers. There's plenty of ways to get into the wildy already
- Eagles Peak: Fairy Ring
- Karamja: Probably fairy ring, cart system etc.

In other words, none are actually necessary, but all are nice :)

Just thought of something. Jagex did say they want to bring back pking into the game, so maybe their way of creating a Wildy loadstone was one way to help the situation? On the other hand, it could be easily camped and by the time the teleporter fights the enemy, he's most likely dead or near death.
