Sad to see that once you put a tool in, you can never remove it. Poor planning, because it discourages friendly lending of high end skill items.
I disagree. A player can still keep a spare hatchet/pick for lending if they want to. I presume lent tools will be prohibited from being added to the borrower's belt.
As for not being able to remove it: It would kind of be nice to, but then having it unremovable means that players should consider carefully whether they put a high end tool in, or not. Do they just want it to skill with & keep it forever in their belt? Or do they want to be able to resell it later?
I think it will discourage the "flipping" and "merching" that's been atificialy over-inflating the prices of d-tools, and help keep them within a reasonable price range.
when i bought my d-hatchet they were a few hundred k, now they seem to be going for around 2-3 mil. I'd kind of wished I'd bought an extra back then so that I could've sold it now that they're high, but then with this update I won't have to worry about needing to get an over-priced replacement anyway. So, to me, the pro's outweigh the con's by quite a fair bit.
What we obtain too easily, we esteem too lightly, it's dearness only that gives everything it's value.
