why do I have a bad feeling that in the long run these items will lose their value from this???

I'm not complaining. Although I do wish I'd have waited until later to buy my Dpickaxe. Oh well, #yolo

I was kind of hoping the update to the Toolbelt included the Keyring; the replacement for the current Steel Keyring. Was that shelved? Because that thread posted by a Jmod suggesting which keys would best go on it got deleted some months back and I've not heard anything about it since.

Awesome! :)

Worth it adding Dragon tools on belt? Hm... Still cool, regardless.

jagex before you release this can you please also update the toolbelt to include slayer items that you have already unlocked the ability to use? i cant tell you how many times i get a gargoyles task and forget to bring a rock hammer and have to go all the way back to buy one. i would love you if you included at least the rock hammer in the toolbelt. also can you make it so you can also put the inferno adze and the steel keyring with all the keys in the toolbelt if you unlocked it?

''we listen to player feedback''

In which forum subsections? I have had a feedback thread running in Evolution of Combat for about 6 months, before giving up and reorganizing its contents in a new thread in Existing Game Content. I report the bugs, and bump the thread, but haven't gotten any official jmod response, and most of its bugs have just been left there (but thanks for fixing most of Nardah!)

Also on the toolbelts:
-will inferno adze work?
-what about currently useless items like equippable harpoons and fishing nets? Will they get a use?
-I preferred when players needed to fill out the toolbelt, rather than it being auto-filled on character creation, it felt more like gradually earning the feature

does this mean I no longer need to wield a hatchet to fight the jade vine now?

Presumably you'll still need one to fight the jade vine. Toolbelts work as if the tool is in your inventory, and you need to use the axe as a weapon to kill the jade vine.
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

Question: will the stored pickaxe on the toolbelt display as trimmed if we store a trimmed pickaxe upon it?

Also, since this video mentioned 'solving all the problems' will that include MAKING THE STARFURY WEAPONS COMPATIBLE WITH THE DRAGON KEEPSAKE BOX?

1st, I believe making the Tool Belt work the same way as it does in Dungeoneering is a good idea.

2nd, there was a image on this video that has escalated my worries. With my fears that Jagex is turning Runescape into WoW have been shown to be true. That image is that a worker is wearing a lanyard with the emblem of the Horde from Wow. If you don't understand what the problem here, I'll explain... once more... WoW constantly degrades people who know how to play and are successful because new players who don't bother learning how to play, just complain that others are "to powerful". The only reason WoW remains popular is that it keeps adding more features and items THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY IRL $ FOR. But, Runescape doesn't do that. Jagex, this has a strong possibility of killing your PAYING players... or what's left of them.

If you want this game to truly standout and survive is by making it unique, like it used to be, and not just copy another big MMO.

You all can start saying I'm just trolling here but when it happens, don't act surprised...
