The Loyalty Point prices look awfully high. I can understand wanting to keep selling items for real money, but unless the improvement in Loyalty Points rewarded is hugely improved, it's just going to be too restrictive to actually make this a practical addition, i.e. it already takes months to get enough for an aura, which is actually useful, so if it takes 2+ years to get a cosmetic SGS item, why would you ever use Loyalty Points for it?

Related to that, there better not be a huge increase in the old Loyalty Store outfits to put them on par with the price of the SGS items. That's just penalizing anyone that didn't buy the items before the merger. It's also kind of ridiculous that some cosmetics are available with both options, but others are only available with Runecoins...

Edit: I guess the bottomline is, based on the numbers we've been given, it seems like the Value of Loyalty is not very much (about $1.25 a month).

To everyone complaining: They are updating the amount of loyalty points we get per month. (Seriously, did anyone even really watch the video?)

If it was all obtainable within a few months then it would all look tacky and overused anyways. If it's not worth your LP then you don't buy it. If it is, then you do. Very simple. ;)

It's better than nothing quite honestly. I'm sure they'll take more feedback once it's released and make more changes. It's a business as well; you can't expect to get everything for free all the time. Just stop. :o
hey lol

It's not what we really wanted. But it's what we all should have expected.

The only thing I'm truly disappointed about is that not everything is purchasable with loyalty points. Or rather, that all the things actually worth buying aren't.

Apparently the value of loyalty isn't all that high.

Original message details are unavailable.

Also, does lapsing in membership after this update still reset the multiplier for loyalty point gain?

It was stated specifically in the video that it will be "more fair" to let us pick up where we left off if we lose membership. Did you even watch or did you just come to complain like usual?
hey lol

Frankly I am pleased they are consolidating SOMETHING. The information we need to find just to play Runescape is so haphazard and spread out all over the net that you almost have to have a PHD just to find out something. You have videos, tweets, sites, Facebook, etc., etc. Then you have sites that are not actually part of Jagex but seem to know more about the game then Jagex does.

Simplifying "purchased" items whether it be by loyalty points or real world cash is an excellent idea. The only peeps that should really be worried by the high prices are the noobs. lol. Now maybe they will finally learn that they have to "EARN" rewards in the game and not just hold out their hands to beg for them.

For those that have not just frittered their loyalty points away, I think Tuesday might be fun.
