I'm wondering though, what types of stuff will be on the RuneCoins-only section ... my guess is that it's probably going to include the pet treats and growth surge, but other than that, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Like others I've seen (not that I went through every page) I was hoping the behind the scenes would actually share some info we haven't read in other forums, also I'm really hoping those aren't the actual prices.. that's just outrageous! Unless we're going to be receiving like 50K+ points a month, I'm no longer actually happy with this! Just when I was thinking I could put up with this a lot longer.. seems I'm just experiencing one let down to the next. But I guess I won't finally decide anything till the 27th. :| my RS days aren't as bright as they used to be..

Wow, really disappointed so far. This was one update I was seriously looking forward to but those prices...? Ouch. Something as mundane as the barbed bow is over 30K loyalty points. If you've been saving for awhile now, that's TWO month's worth. And that's without dredging up the conflict about how we should/shouldn't have gotten the cosmetic promotionals for free if we spent the cash to nab the originals.

I certainly hope this monthly boost to points is out-of-this-world huge, because so far, I'm not willing to squeeze out the loyalty points for a single keepsake - that's over two months of my loyalty, that is. On the basis of the keepsake's cost, I certainly hope they at LEAST double the points we get monthly.

and even some of the cool costumesss please i was hoping that only the packs and pets were runecoin purchasable only but i dont care abotut he prices just please make most of them purchasble with loyalty points pleaseeee!!

What's the point? Some items are still exclusive, the items that aren't look severely overpriced(which I expected them to be). Might as well have left it as it was, but i'll save my complaints until after the update. :)

Is there any future plans to backdate loyalty beyond the date that the loyalty system was created.
The BTS video has a caption that says 'the value of loyalty', so I think it would a nice thing to do as a games company, to backdate the loyalty for all months played on rs.
Assumingly a database can be extracted to produce this info.
I like the way you are heading by merging both, but as a long term user, there is probably no amount of loyalty points that will get me all the items that I would like.
Bringing some of these items as in game drops would also be a good idea.

This would give 2 scenarios, people who don't mind paying extra for items, and people who do now, would all have a chance to get the items.
There has to be a number of people who simply will not pay for these thing, that's my opinion anyway.
