? Did your dog eat the 2nd page of the BTS? What is this? A grand total of 17 people enjoy your high level combat. 16 of them work with you and the other is a habitual liar.

I hope Solomon has bought you a very comfy pillow. Must be rough napping on those hard desks.

I like how you worded this.. You sir, are clever.

To alll those posting on this thread about the lack of humour in bacon I suggest this:

1. Watch 10 hours of vintage Monty Python, including at least 2 of the films.

2. Watch 10 hours of Michael McIntyre (comedian)

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you understand why a dead parrot is funny and why skipping is preferable to walking.

Now you have some understanding of British humour, and you are ready to understand the humour of bacon.

Love this post although for impartiality I'd throw in a bit of Rhod Gilbert to represent Wales and Ed Byrne for the Irish. I am not a fan of bacon but looking forward to some good British humour in this quest! Really enjoyed the pirate series for this reason.

On a little side 'rant' players are always complaining about getting no quests and then a quest with up to level 84 content just isn't good enough... This community shoots it's mouth off before it actually examines what's going on.

Listen morons, not Jagex, the idiot community.

All you cry babies b**** and moan about there not being enough updates. You want to know why so many updates that come out are crap? Because you all want them to pump update after update out. I'm glad Jagex is finally slowing things down, maybe they'll finally take the damn time to listen what we have to say.

But until this content drops, do me a favor everyone and quit your crying, you're all worse than the LoL and CoD community combined.

Membership costs have risen. Squeal of Fortune and SGS are apparently helping to "fund" the game. Yet, hardly any updates. This new quest seems as if it was stitched together to stop criticism that the quest production has stopped.
All the updates have ceased, but the SoF and SGS updates are continuing to be pumped out as if there's no tomorrow.

I'm no longer a member, I cancelled my subscription 2 months back. I feel that RS is no longer the game it once was and the complete and utter silence from the Jmods on the huge amount of criticism from there customers just shows you their contempt for us.

You're loyal to JaGex, but JaGex couldn't care what you think or anyone else. Check out the high scores every week and see all the members who are leaving. Why did JaGex bring out "gold membership", because if people paid for 12 months in advance, they'd be less likely to quit because 2013 will probably be and is looking like it to be, the worst one yet for RS and the players.

There's a reason updates have slowed: They've been working on Runescape 3 stuff for a long time. The graphics update and the interface update are both being worked on and improved as they are being tested, and one could say EoC was the start of upgrading towards RS3 (or the updated armor appearances, if you like). It takes a lot of time to get this stuff ready for release, and even more time fine tuning it if something goes wrong.

Content will return once this is done. All of that will be followed by Divination as a new skill, and the quests will return. RS3 is for the Sixth Age. All of this development on top of Old School RS work probably didn't help. As for SoF and SGS, they are done by a separate team as far as I'm aware, hence their frequency of release; they don't have to deal with any of the transitions.

Be grateful for the new Quest; you can enjoy some fun story and good rewards soon, rather than waiting for Post-RS3 release.

"Be grateful"... as if JaGex do it out the kindness of their hearts? They're paid to make quests by the PLAYERS!!! No quests in months, no real updates in months, half-done EoC which saw monsters become either very easy or next to impossible to kill. Armour devalued and skills devalued because of EoC.

RS3 is just a graphics update, if the game is continuing to be this bad, I doubt there will be an RS in this form in 2 years time.
