@Eddie Body Them saying they invest more in their quality insurance department may simply mean they have hired 2 or whatever number of people. So I personally don't feel that they really put more into that department then say Xbox or Sony does(bad example but ya).
As for the rushed releases of EOC and RS3. I personally think its because of the biggest motivator there is, money. When they released EOC I would imagine they lost a bit of money because of all the problems (like WoW). So they are trying recoup their loses by releasing RS3.
As for me if it takes say 2 weeks to fix all the problems to make the game run VERY smooth I will wait, but that's simply because I'll play other games in the mean time.
As for delaying the release of the game common sense would dictate that they would. Sadly that won't be the case and both of us know it. Nothing less then a riot from the employees would make that happen, hence EOC.
In terms of them giving out credits or what not for the past months of problems. I highly doubt that they will just because people just kept playing either because they were to "addicted" or simply didn't have anything else to do (no offense to anyone).
Lord of Fury, that would wreck the game, it would cause about 75% of the Old Schoolers to leaves, because I have to agree, EoC is pretty broken, even if you don't count abilities.
Hi =) just had a peek in RS3 Beta and noticed a couple of things I wanted to mention.
* NOTE: If these abilities do exist in RS3 I can't find them - if they are I apologize in advance.*
1) Firstly (and least important) My avatar looks horrible ... not pretty any more - My arms are too long and my hands look like huge paws - the fine detail is completely gone because of the longer draw distance - I loved the way my outfit was painted with light on the chest and dress - that is not noticeable now - can't see amulet at all - I felt like I wanted to zoom in on myself constantly with no ability to do so - a zoom function would be fantastic - so you can see yourself (and your expensive fancy outfits) better and be closer to the action - to be able to see yourself as well as you can in the Orb of Oculus or in the tiny picture here in the forum would be ideal.
2) The 'fish-eye lens' look is very hard to get used to.
3) The black menus are very dark - very boxy - too 'modern' looking for a medieval fantasy game - I loved the opaque text box as it was and the map that wasn't a box and very unobtrusive - the ability to toggle the boxes to either opaque or solid at least would be fantastic and a further recolour option would be greater still - to coordinate your windows with your settings.
4) A built in spell checker for the chat box like this forum has.
5) RGB colour mixers for everything.
My skills in games design only allow me to comment on the visual aspect not the functionality - which I didn't test as my av looked so bad and so tiny and far away on my giant monitor that I didn't want to stay there =/
* P.S. This is not related to RS3 but - (almost) every mask, hat and horn set game cuts off my ponytail - most of these items go no-where near it so why do they all make me bald or give me a man's haircut - or change it - I can't wear a Robin - and Phats made me go instantly bald =S

Glad to hear HTML5 is finnaly coming. Though Im not going back to Google (Spyware) Chrome again. Once its compatible with a more trustworthy browser like Firefox and Opera Im all in!
By the way, will this mean Runescapr has a chance of working on mobile devices(Smartphones)? That would make mobile gaming really interesting.
