Play RS on Direct X, and configure your gpu towards that.

I have an i7 with a similar GPU - and I run the game like a charm.

It's more than likely a problem on your end that you haven't sorted out.

Personally, I cannot stand Chrome. I downloaded it to get the glasses and immediately removed it again. Their terms of service and privacy are not something I will agree to.

Now before you all go ape on me for commenting on Chrome - I fully understand that I can continue playing the way I am now. I also understand that those of us that do play on IE and/or Firefox will have to wait for all of the new content.

I have had my quest cape for years but never really paid attention to the storylines or 'lore'. I just do the quests to keep wearing my cape. I'd say that since EoC came out, I've been logging on to do my ports and daily's and then logging back out. All of my friends have left the game and I've noticed that people that play now are either bots or people that don't talk outside their cc. The community really is no more. I miss it.

My question is this...
Is Rs3 a totally different game than EoC? Or will EoC be gone and Rs3 takes it place? Sorry, a bit confused about that aspect.

In any rate, we all know that you can't please everyone. I am thankful that Jagex does updates to the game, even if everyone doesn't agree with all of them.

@BlueCaret : Trust you? your a web designer? Ha I doubt that. If you WERE a web designer you would know that IE has not been a relevant browser for personal use in YEARS! Businesses , yes they use IE. Firefox won the personal browser wars years ago.

Are you playing on Direct X settings and not Open GPU?


Anyways I had some lag/stuttering as well but a few hours later it went away. 10 year cape. Un-maxed account. #1 casual player. Average sarcastic comedian.

I personally just installed Chrome for use with RS. I use the far superior :P Firefox for everything else. Idc that super-evil Google know I am playing RS.

Will we be able to use the GE to buy stuff or will it still crash the client? (Or is this already fixed?)
