rs3 still isnt ready, and will be then next eoc failboat.
I'm pretty sure that Jagex will be able to handle the bugs, it's still 19 days, which is almost three weeks. I think they must've been busy reworking all the bugs and should probably have fixxed 99% of them when the HTML 5 beta goes live to all players.

Definitely way too soon.

I have a great computer and it takes at least 10-15 minutes just for my character to load onto my screen, let alone be able to move around. Yes, I know, change my graphic settings. I HAVE. Lowest settings possible, still can't move, let alone get into my bank.

Regardless of me having premium membership, if this is released without fixing loading errors and lag issues, I'll be leaving Runescape permanently. I've left plenty of times in the past. Why pay to play when I can't even play?

O_o :@

Remember that html5 is only optional. If you can't play it, play Java.

I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?

Jagex, you are rushing out an update that isn't ready. RS3 is still really buggy, loads incredibly slow, and crashes very often. I'm not trying to sound pessimistic -- I'm just looking at the reality of the game as it exists right now.

I have an Nvidia GeForce 660 GTX video card, which gets 45-60 FPS on games like Skyrim, Borderlands 2, and Far Cry 3. I don't break 20 with RS settings on high using features like antialiasing. Are you telling me that the graphics and mechanics of RS3 are somehow more complicated than those games?

You rushed EoC out before it was ready, although I'm not here to complain about that since I really do like EoC, but since the release there have been at least two MAJOR reworks of the combat system. That isn't supposed to happen in a 'live' game. That's what betas are intended for.

I urge you not to make the same mistake with HTML5 RS. There are still many issues to deal with before going live. Limiting gameplay to one browser that many have concerns about privacy (Chrome) is shooting yourself in the foot. Releasing a version that still unstable and frequently crashes will cause people to never do anything risky on the game.

Please stop thinking so short-term.

Actually,
RS3 is actually more complicated than those games. RS3 is the first game of it's size to entirely run in a web browser and using cutting edge html5 to boot. So one could argue, Jagex is being cutting edge on this one.

Besides, Jagex can't control Firefox not following the standard, and Mozilla is working on a fix supposedly. One good thing about RS3, with enough people behind it, Companies like Google, Mozilla, Microsoft may have to make their browser more standard compliant.
