I only downloaded Chrome to get those funky glasses a while back. Since then, I've come to use it all the time. I still play Runescape in the client, though. I'll probably keep on playing in the client, I don't know why I don't use the browser, but I tend to stick with things until they go away. I am looking forward to RS3, but I didn't care for the nis. I thought the new interfaces too up too much of the screen. I'll adapt. I've adapted to everything else so far.

Well at least we can stick with Java and not hve to worry about the horrible lag on HTML5

Pretty much this. So far as the over-hyped HTML5 goes, they could get rid of it and I simply would not care. I'm able to load it, but my FPS never goes above 5 (it drops to 1 if I so much as rotate the screen). In addition, I'm not exactly impressed with the graphics; they're too grainy for my tastes, probably due to using only OpenGL with the HTML5 client (Problematic for me because 1) My computer does not like OpenGL and 2) DirectX looks better anyway).

I don't particularly care about audio either, but the new interface performs quite well; my only gripe with it is that I preferred the old chat interface so far as having PMs appear above the chatbox. It's possible to achieve this to a limited degree by dragging out private, but it tends to include game chat in that window and is more space consuming than the current interface. But it's a small price to pay; everything else is better.

And, of course, there's the lovely upcoming story progression that can FINALLY get going. I'm quite interested to see what the future story brings forward, and I'm interested to see how the various delivery mechanics- World Events, Divination, and, of course, the traditional quests- work together.

So yeah. Ironically, I think that the HTLM5 engine that seems to be among the most talked about RS3 features (at least in news sites) is the least impressive of its offerings. But aside from that, the assembly is quite promising..Although I get the feeling that a lot of people seem to think that it's not worthy of the "Runescape 3" title without the working new engine.

Looking forward to divination more than anything else.

Not sure I like the shape the future thing with lumbridge, it means that whatever path the game does take, that the other paths were a waste of good development time, that could have been used to bring us small meaningful content to the game. However interesting in what will come of this.

Graphics have never been important for me in Runescape, and I play with the sound off anyway. I would guess most players would listen to there own mp3's or flacs like me. Back in the 80's I was really into text based adventures, its that kind of content that makes me want to play games like RS.

MMORPG's are all about engaging the players, and giving them content that keeps them interested.

Would love to see an update that shapes the way that the GE works. I feel that not all items on ge should be available to buy, and that old school trading would be good for a lot of items, this would put RS back on the social ladder. Bustling trading communities like the old days*****;-- This was one of things that made me play RS, that and the mysterious place called the Wildy. It is actually the two talking points that I used to mention to friends who then became players.

Not very keen on google chrome at all, so hoping there is a alternative.

Will there be new content for all the extra gods we are seeing for emissionaries, for example, god potions, and items / armours related to the new gods ?
With Sara, Zammy and Guthix being in the game for so long, it will seem like the other gods have so much less items.

Another thing I am looking forward to is the ports update, I have enjoyed this minigame and do it daily as part of my rs routine, so keep up content like this.

One thing you could do, to give the vets a feeling of wellbeing, is to backdate loyalty points, there are so many nice things in the loyalty store, but obtaining them all is most certainly impossible even with continuous membership.

Cheers

There's already way to much dead content and you are constantly throwing more junk at us in game. Give us a break! We don't need new armour and weapons every month, now a whole new runescape BLEH!!! Improve whats already here. Queen of W52
