From my 2 daily spins I won the cuirass and from all the earned spins that I got (1 from fletching, 5 from daily tasks and 2 double spin tickets from the SoF I got the gloves.

The stats are not bad at level 60 and I do hope that I win the entire set including the bow before the 10th.

Of course I do wish to know if the Skirmisher armor and the White stag bow will still be on the SoF after the 10th or not and if so then all the more of a reason to try and get it.

if a beginner player obtain this stuff, he dont even need to buy gear!!
no imphide, dhide stuffs??? are u serious jagex?
Totally devalues the middle-low lvl ranged armours, and replace with a 'jolly joker' armour=dont buy gear from ge, instead buy spinzzzz...dat logic

Wait... what? I never knew this! Jagex why have you never mentioned this before? Afterall it is clear that your playerbase is 8 years olds who would forget this fact every single week and every single gap between SOF posts which unfortunately isn't that long.

Jagex is an amazing company though (not in a good way). If something is hated as much as the SOF in a game then surely you would want to remove it to keep the players happy. Seriously I wish they brought out a poll where we could vote on whether the SOF should be removed. It must be the biggest joke in Runescape and it's insulting at how little Jagex seem to care about our opinions.

Jagex's attitude towards this is ultimately going to kill this game. People can say that the money from the SOF is going into the game but Jagex have been selling spins for a year and 2 months now and for many players this past year and 2 months has been the worst in the history of Runescape.

And the fact that you have promised us that we will have less SOF promotions this year is just plain rude as you have not kept up with that promise one bit. I reckon that in 2013 we have had more days with an SOF promotion than days without one. That kind of kills the point of promoting the SOF if it is a weekly thing. The only saving grace that i have thought of is that we haven't yet had a stupid Mad May or Stupid Spring promotion although it's bound to happen soon enough.

As for this update it looks terrible. Without the arrows on the guy's back it looks like people who are wearing melee metal armour. If find it funny when I got 5 red d'hides and I could make a bit of money or xp out of them but that takes effort on something random so I convert to coins and that's no problem for you. But Guthix forbid that I convert to coins one of your promotion items and you have to make sure I want to do this.

To sum it up, Remove the SOF Jagex, it's annoying your playerbase.

If I'm not mistaken I remember Jagex saying that they would never release SoF items that had a real "Impact" on the game or items that gave players an "Advantage" over one another. It started off with releasing cosmetic items, then it progressed to basically selling experience and gold, then to items that gave you exp bonuses and now to actual worthwhile gear for some. Soon we're going to be forced to buy spins if we want to have the best gear or the bst exp rates...

I'm sorry to say that this is going to be the downfall of this game... This is all due to Jagex selling out to a money grabbing organisation.

Jagex, if you continue to ignore us, we will soon ignore you, and forget about you.

Everyone has a breaking point, we can only take so much before we find something else to look forward to.

I'd much rather spend my money irl on things I need, rather then giving you my payment.

But why even waste my time typing this...It's not like Jagex is going to respond...They're all bots, they have no feelings for anyone, just themself...

Managed to get a white stag bow and the boots from my daily spins :D
The level 60 stag bow has slightly lower accuracy and damage than a dark bow but has a much faster attack speed, however the stag bow can only use up to steel arrows for some reason.

When using steel arrows and abilities, then dark bow felt slightly better.
When using rune/dragon arrows and abilities, the dark bow destroyed the stag bow.
So the bow isn't worth it for 60+ rangers.

The boots are slightly better than spined boots.

The other bow is mostly cosmetic from what I heard so save yourself some money and don't buy spins for this stupid promotion. :)
