It is still a good achievement...irregardless if they are mostly bot account? No, that is a stupid thing to say. That is like a school bragging they got the highest scores in the country for a standardized test....but most the students cheated to get the high scores. And then saying, "Yes many of them cheated...but look how good they did compared to all the other schools ....good job cheating school." If Jagex wants to impress us show us how many of them accounts are real players?

It's actually not the school's fault that the students cheated, it's the school's fault that they're displaying the result DESPITE knowing as well as the students know how many cheated.
That's why we're so disappointed with you, Jagex. You're insulting our intelligence by not even bothering to acknowledge that at least half of the accounts created are bots or throwaways. Even if you just stated it in a passing comment in the announcement, it would still be vastly better than just pointedly not saying a thing about the number of bots possibly being counted in the accounts.

Well by now I am sure Jagex realizes how stupid their bragging and self back patting sounds and looks to most us players. I enjoy the game, but this whole 200 mil thing is very stupid. It is very obvious to most all players that Jagex does not have 200 mil players...even if every player who ever played had 4 accounts each...there has not been near 50 million players. Most all they have are due to botting. Those bots cost us so much grief and also real money and hacked accounts. I would rather see Jagex brag about doing something right and good....like doing something that truly got rid of bots or narrowed them down a ton.

Sure if the school allows the cheaters and doesnt do anything to stop it...and then the school turns around and brags about how good they are...when they know darn good and well they are not that good. If Jagex knows that most those 200 mil are bots then why brag about the number like it is a good thing.
