...jagex crew know that most of these (at least 10%-25%) are bots right?
well the bot buster program was a load of crap .. there i said it -_-..
jagex may make bot busting programs, embedding them in RS.. still more "convenient", stealthy bot programs are made within days.. -_- be realistic you can't stop players form using bots and you can't beat the bots created (so far)..
the best you guys can do is be concerned with the "reported players"..
and for god sake! just send some Mods on patrol or something..
For eg, just send a guy to "Taverley Dungeon", where the blue dragons are (resource dungeon requiring lvl 60 dung), in any member world/server! You just gotta be blind to not see the bots there ~_~
Well, in the end if all bots are gone, the total count of accounts would reduce massively..

Well I guess a congratulations are in order! I suppose many of those accounts were bots, but at least even they bot hered to create one every time!
Hopefully these celebrations do NOT involve the Squeal of Fortune. I don't think I can take any more micro-transaction-related updates right now. I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.

been playing this game for like , 6 years now , and i think.. this is the worst year for runescape out of all 6, selling money via the squeal of fortune, and they are no longer banning bots , or anyone pretty much, the mods are never seen in game anymore i think they need to try more and stop being so much about money -Straw hat Pirates Crew

Really it's almost sad that the prevailing attitude towards the counter is that it is mostly bots. Sad because it is almost partly true. Whether our numbers are right or not, without the black market section of Runescape we would still be a fair few years off of 200,000,000 players.
What's even worse is how jagex is flagrantly ignoring this fact in an attempt to make themselves look better.
Look at your community Jagex, we are not happy. We do not believe your lies.
