I was on world 138 tonight, and I saw an amazing thing. It wasn't amazing because it was new, or even a unique idea. It was amazing, because it represented the truth.
Jagex has stopped fighting the bots, and they now 'celebrate' the soon to be milestone of 200,000,000 accounts (or players as the counter is captioned). They couldn't beat them, so they now celebrate them.
Today, I saw entire clans gambling. They use spambots, the very same kind that invade our pm's and our public chats, all gambling with flowers. What could I really say? Jagex has introduced the SoF, because they can't beat the gamblers either. Now the SoF is here to capitalize on it.
One of my friends has quit playing RuneScape. A wise, and genuinely Loyal Player, that took our Spirit with her to the very gates of Jagex's Golden Castle. She is a gifted author, and a true artisan of words.
Her last words before she left RuneScape were.......
Words.Finally.Fail.
Some how, I know the feeling.

I can see that you've finally lost hope too tho.. :( Sorry I left you guys.
I just couldn't take it anymore when the J-mods told us to just play the game instead of hunting bots...

If you open your mind, you would realise that peoples "anti-bot-reactions" here are just symptoms of something much, much worse:
Jagex's lies, ignorance and self centerd "me-me-me" attitude.
I don't blame people at all for their reactions. They are very well justified.
