@sara get over it???? really i guess you have or run a bot, who would support a bot, all they have to do to stop most bots is re install trade limit until they sort out what to do, to say all games have them and say we need to stop buying gold .... unreal

@bere77 No im against bots and it sounds like you said you buy gold from them "and say we need to stop buying gold .... unreal"... wow so your one whose at fault for bots. I hope Jagex reads that.

Seriously people! 200,000,000 is amazing! stop bringing up bots! To me, a player that has played since classic was around, the game has evolved so much! When RS2 came out my family was a little set off but we played, when trade limits were set, it was hard, but I kept going. I've been hacked a total of 3 or 4 times since I began playing and have lost a lot of things. Now botting is to the extreme but I like this game so guess what? I keep playing! Bots shouldn't affect how you see the game. Playing is the only thing that is important. If you buy from a bot that's your problem. I don't do that junk so I don't care.

Comparing bots to immigrants is just completely stupid. There are plenty of people in the US to work, that's why you hear people complain constantly about being unemployed and not being able to find jobs. In fact, that's one of the biggest problems in America right now is jobs. In Runescape there are not enough people to gather all these materials that everyone wants. More people rather buy them than gather them, so that's where bots come in.
That doesn't really matter though. In reality every MMO has bots/gold farmers/rwt. You can't get away from it no matter how hard you try. Tons of MMO's have tried, obviously none of them have had very great success. That's why you need to just let it go and enjoy the game. If it hasn't changed for YEARS, what in the world makes you all think it will change now? What makes you all think complaining will make a difference? Just let it go, enjoy what your paying for, and stop wasting your time being upset when its not worth it.

I love how you folks immediately brought up bots. Yes, there are bots. So QUIT or report em when you see em and GET OVER IT.
This discussion is about the 200 million mark on account creations, not bots, and certainly not real-world immigrants (or anything else realw-rold fo that matter.)
What y'all are doin is called spam.

That said...i'm not really concerned about what the "prizes" are, tbh. COngrats to jagex for nearly hittin 200 million... at least 5 of those are mine since '03, 3 of which are active today. xD WIsh i had a mil for each of those 200 million, tho.
