How will RS3 run for Mac computers?

I have the late 2012 iMac so I'm up to date with the latest java and everything. I hope Jagex is directing this beta to all computers and not just PC.

Q & hopefully A

1. Will we need to use Google Chrome to use the Beta?

2. What Version of Java should we Upgrade to?

3. What are the recommended system requirements?

4. How many non-premium beta testers will you be accepting?

5. Will the Beta be accessable Via the downloaded clients?

I'm a premum member myself, so I'll be sure to try it out day one! But I do play on a laptop, so I hope my graphics will not be slow... I can run Skyrm no problem... but Minecraft lags... Hope Runescape 3 does not lag!

P.S. Why is ******** censored on the Runescape ****** topic!

Original message details are unavailable.

We all had the opportunity to purchase the benefits. If you have been playing for that long and seems that you'll be playing all this year too, it was your own fault to not purchase the bundle.

In my opinion, it was completely fair.

Why would i want to pay more money? lol *rhetorical*

My point was that loyal players should be first - or at least along with 'others'

How will I know if I was selected?

We will send an e-mail to those who obtain early access prior to the launch of the Beta or Alpha. Please make sure you have an up to date email validated on your account.

This is a quote from your FAQ regarding the RuneScape beta Although I can understand the sense in sending e-mails about whether you've been selected to take part in the beta or not I think at the same time it could be quite an erroneous move.

As you can imagine there is going to be a lot of interest for players to be involved within the RuneScape 3, however, this will also strike interest for those people that sends out malicious emails in an attempt at gaining someones pass - notably, phishing.

I understand that with JAG it somewhat eliminates phishers getting access to players account/items, however, not all players have JAG enabled on their accounts but not only that your players may use the same pass on more sensitive websites, such as bank accounts.

Typically, you send out an email with a link to the destined location, for example setting permission for another device on JAG which will take you to the correct location to adjust this. Instead, Jagex could simply send an email telling the user to check their inbox on the RuneScape website instead, from there Jagex can direct users will web links.

I'm sorry if this doesn't make much sense and if the grammar is bad, I'm tired. I'm sure you are able to make it all out though.

Thank you.

I'm so excited! Html 5 is going to take RuneScape to a whole new level. It's already the best online mmorpg out there and now with Html 5 its going to be even better! (if thats even possible?) haha Thanks Jagex for all the hard work and dedication you've put into this game. It's truely appreciated by the community!
