I just hope and pray that this is not a commercial tie in with google chrome, the lag in chrome compared with other browsers is high (in us & uk). if the update is restricted to Chrome, I see problems similar to EOC all over again and another portion of the game playing public alienated. Or will the game split into 3?

Restricted to Chrome? I'm sick of seeing that because its incorrect.
Download IE10 (Win7 or Win8)
Download Firefox (latest version)
Download Maxthon Cloud Browser (ranked best HTML5 score compared to the top 3 web browsers IE Firefox and Chrome)
All of theses browsers are HTML5 capable

No, there was an actual deal you could purchase, where bought you one years membership which came with a bunch of other things, beta access was one of those things.

I wish they would do something so everything isn't so worthless. I don't get how item prices are so low.

-----Hopefully the new rs3 will make prices go up again.
I cant wait I didn't play classic but started back in 2005 and was around for rs2 can't wait for rs3!

I feel it is a tie in, if you remember correctly if you played rs on chrome awhile ago they gave you goggles or something of that nature.
