I am really disappointed in how many NO votes were made for the f2p pk option. It clearly says WITH MEMBERSHIP. So for all of the people who read it as - bringing back free to play runescape, they really need to learn to read a little better. It's because of that we people in the clan world, whom play for that reason mainly are going to have to do without. It does NOT affect people that don't care to f2p pk, just don't play on those worlds? Simple as that. I do agree it's wording was not done very accurately so maybe it was a little complicated for people to understand what they meant, so a re-do on that poll would be a very good idea in my opinion. I myself play for this, clan pkng etc, and yes its okay to p2p pk sometimes but f2p is the majority of the pkng that the clans do. Its really not fair to us that it not be considered because of any of the reasons above, whether is be people who just oppose pkng, people who did not read it correctly, or just that it was presented wrong in the poll. I really think that Jagex should take a look at RSC and how strongly the people from there that play feel towards it, and if it doesn't pass alot will stop playing ( which also means paying ).
And as for people that voted no as it would mess up the economy? Your so very wrong. Not bringing that part of runescape back will mess it up. So many f2p pk items will be worth nothing now..

Also, is anyone else getting really annoyed at the people voting 'no' on everything out of a knee-jerk reaction because 'no changes evar!' without even realizing that probably half the things on this poll were actually there IN 07?
Can you explain why the things that you say we're in the game in 2007, are not in the version of August 2007? Did I miss something here? How is it possible that a full version, a full backup, is without some of the things it was on that exact moment?

Also, F2P Pk worlds would mess with the economy. So a 'no' for me.

if my calculations are correct, august was not the last month in 2007, i may be wrong. also if u r such a august 2007 purist, the 07 economy had f2p and was affected by it, so why isnt it now?

btw it will only make things such as rune scims, addy arrows, and swordfish/lobsters more expensive. im not sure what u care about but right now, there is no market for addy arrows, rune scims are overpriced from real 07 by about 200-250% and lobsters are severely underpriced by about 50% real 07 price. adding f2p pk worlds would stabilize lobsters, create a market for addy arrows, and drive the price of rune scim and 2h up (all are good for people who dont want to f2p pk)

Can see various for it not reaching 75%. From mis-wording of the poll question that leads people to believe it'll bring in players playing without needing to pay, and EOC Trolls (we need 400+ Total level requirement minimum for polls, only takes about 20 hours gameplay anyway).

Jagex killed F2P warring with Clans twice, it has the chance to bring it back, like it was during its peak years, and likely won't as the majority isn't high enough.

We're provisionally planning to re-run the F2P worlds question, since there's been so much debate as to what it meant. For that matter, we're also thinking of letting people know the planned contents of future polls before they open, so that we can see if similar issues are likely to crop up again.

I can see even more reasons than that, for people to vote no.

Accept it or don't but, one other reason is the massive negativity from many of those who want this f2p option (and are posting insults in these forums every time someone disagrees with them).

Will you still call us "EOC Trolls" when we vote no next time?

When will people learn to accept that others don't always share their views? It doesn't justify the absolute negativity (insults, name calling, even insulting jmods) in these forums.

Guess I'm a "misfit" because eoc players insist that I'm "stuck" playing OSRS and pkers are telling me to go back to eoc.

600+ total lvls in Old School
2400+ total lvls in EOC

Guess I'll play both games but next time somebody from '07 wants to call me an "EOC Troll", perhaps they should think about the eoc group that's calling me an '07 troll... and vice versa.

Just because I don't agree with something doesn't make me a "troll".

When y'all learn that... you might be able to convince others to think more on what it is you personally are after.

Until that point... "EOC Troll, go vote for what I want" is likely to "change minds" but not necessarily in the direction you hope.

Reading comprehension is not the issue.. not in the direction y'all want to claim anyway.

I fully understand that voting yes would be encouraging the flaming I've seen in the forums and (while I did vote yes this time), I'm going to vote no when it pops up again (because I refuse to endorse the insulting behaviour I've seen from this portion of the community).

Don't understand why there's 30% no, and why 75% is required to add the features. It should be 50% or higher like most things are in the world. F2P worlds are required. Not every member wants to PK on Members servers mainly due to the fact, Members servers are very fast paced. I am purely training my combat skills for F2P worlds, to Team up with my friends like the olden days. F2P Worlds should've been added from the start if you ask me. I don't see why a poll is required to re-add something that once was in 2007 anyways.

I currently have a total level of 206 in OSRS. I train two skills and have just under 3mil total xp. Why should someone like myself who's already invested more time into the game than someone with that total level not be able to vote? The total level of 100 is just fine. Jagex already stated lower level voters aren't interfering/tainting the poll(s).

I voted yes for f2p pking even though I will never step foot in those dedicated worlds and nor will I ever f2p pk. However, after seeing how many people of the "f2p pk community" have thrown around insults and whined in a childlike manner I doubt I'll be voting yes on the next poll. If this is a reflection of what the "f2p pk community" is, then we are far better off without them. Now, I have seen many of them act mature and give excellent reasoning, but the majority have acted like children. OSRS doesn't need that.

In any case I will live with or without f2p pking. I just hope the f2p pk community understands everyone has an opinion and is entitled to it. Also for the record there are minor negatives to bringing back the luxury known as f2p pking. So, it's not 100% without negative affects. I'd be happy to list some; however read back a few pages and you'll see plenty.

Any case; Jagex thank you for opening the polls and taking player feedback. It's very welcoming to know our feedback/votes count.

Can you please answer this question, why is it that F2P style worlds are already not apart of the game? We had them in 2007 Runescape and they could of been considered the back bone of the game. At the very least a major part of 2007 Runescape. Why is F2P style servers the only thing on the ballot that was available in 2007? Why was right click report implemented without a vote when it came out after 2007, but F2P style worlds are up for a vote when they've been here since the beginning of the game?

Would this not be the same case if you did not implement fletching, or something else? Why choose F2P Style pking out of all the things to not implement, just please take in to consideration the amount of confusion and scale it to 75% so we do not have to wait for a revote.

Jagex.. while you consider the above player's request to "cheat the vote" please also consider... if you bump the vote up to pass one thing.. there is NO reason to not also bump the next thing up for the next group on the next poll.

Cheating the vote by bumping it up and adding something anyway... makes it pointless to have polls in the first place.

One other thing I "must" add (because it has been gnawing at me for ages!):
