That is exactly why Jagex should not carelessly throw in whatever poll options.

I don't know I mean the options are pretty clear on what they do. I'm not exactly sure I agree on carelessly unless you're referring to the total level restriction only being 100.

It is careless because of how greatly it affects the game and how likely it is people will vote without thinking it through completely.

While I'd ask which options you're referring to when you say that the poll affects the game greatly I'll assume you're referring to the Unids/Grimy option. I won't disagree on that part it is a noticeable change however does it actually harm the game? As I see it changing Unids to Grimy not only removes the chance of getting scammed but also makes the game more challenging for those who want herbs. Since everyone will know which herb is which they'll be able to haggle for it more effectively. Herbs will also sell faster depending on the demand for them as well instead of looking for a reliable and trustworthy trader.

However if my assumptions on the unid/grimy part is incorrect feel free to give me your two cents.

jagex has proven it can prevent a player from accessing certian locations based on the items that player is carrying...

why not take the money invest it in preventing players from crossing the ditch with member only items in parts of the wilderness where pking can be done.

this doesnt prevent players from accessing the entire wilderness just the parts where pking could be done.

it would also prevent unexpecting players from being lured...

doing this would not require a entire world/server to be invested in

It is game-specific convenience updates I care about. Banking, fletching, cooking, etc (the ones that affect withdrawing, inserting and selecting). Tabs are fine, left-click etc not so much.

@Shiipu - So the left click to bank option is what bothers you? In all honesty I don't see that as being harmful. It's not automated as you still require clicking on the NPC/bank booth. It's not very different from Right clicking then selecting the option either. The only difference is about a split second if any. What about fletching and cooking though?

Having a f2p world that requires membership to still login to is far easier and safer to implement than trying to have special worlds where f2p rules apply in the wilderness area with a huge list of allowed or disallowed items which then means bug abusers have an interest in trying to sneak in members items or items that aren't allowed and mess up the system anyway.

Also from a couple of pages back:

"Will these polls ever be done again? I assume not..."

These polls will be happening again, and this isn't exactly an exhaustive list of everything we've got on offer or things you might want in the future.

If you mean what happens to stuff that doesn't pass on this occasion, depending on how close it is, it may be put to another poll in the future. Something that's not really useful now might increase in demand later.

I'm going to put this request here as well.

Would it be possible to make a link or page that lets us follow the poll results, just as we were able to follow the vote that created OSR? I've already voted and would like to watch to see how the voting goes, but I can't refresh the page without it logging me out of the website every time.

Thanks.

Why? Because then activities that require members items and PKing using members equipment would be impossible.

the wildernes is hugh... not all of it has to be pkable... alot of the space is wasted..

the only reason to not want area for pking is so a person can jump another unexpecting unaware player....which its self is cheating.. you say you dont want cheating... but you want cheating... that doesnt make sence to me

the reason you want a f2p rules inforced... to prevent cheating...so which is it... cheating yes? cheating no? you cant have it both ways..and save the resources to invest in 07

I second this. I like being able to actually view the POLL without having to log in every thirty seconds.
