Please read Mod Nexus' posts before freaking out. I must admit, this "quick fix" has caused a lot of confusion. Hopefully people will understand a little better after having a reread of some posts. Rell out.

This update only added to the confusion, instead of taking it away: me included.

Only until i saw this message, by coincidence, I knew what I was about to expect.

The weird thing is that with the update I not only had this minor change in the membershipstatus, I also had no access to post anything in the forums for about 30 mins (with 2 days EOC-membership left). No idea what that was all about?

We've not taken any membership from anyone.

An example:

You bought 1 month of RuneScape membership on the 28th of February to vote and subsequently come and play OSRS.

Previously:
It would have shown 11 days of credit left. (it's the 20th, you can play OSRS until the 31st because you had membership and voted at some point previously)

This isn't technically accurate regarding your "RuneScape" membership which would indeed expire in 5 days on the 25th of March.


Today:
It will show 5 days left. (it's the 20th you can play "RuneScape" until the 25th because you have bought 1 month of RuneScape Membership)

Summary:

To access Old School RuneScape you need membership credit for the main RuneScape game.
However, those who have voted in the poll to bring back Old School RuneScape have access to OSRS until the 31st of March, regardless of membership status.

The lobby just shows you the "RuneScape" days of credit left, rather than OSRS which is currently a benefit of OSRS membership at no extra cost for for the first 6 months.

Maybe Jagex will decide to make it possible to choose if you want to play both servers and pay a little more than we are now..... OR... make it an option to choose to play one, for example, just the OSRS servers and the monthly payments will stay the same.. I guess we will see in 6 months time what they do. :)
