You can plainly see that many players are upset that they would have to pay more for less and start fresh.

We don't want all those hours and money wasted we put into our accounts, we just want to play Runescape as it was before the Eoc.

That is more reasonable and I can understand that and see why that is ok.

For me it would still be starting from scratch. I started in 2008.

@toxxn stop complaining about the money unless you actually pay the current 8$ for membership, i hate those who are complaining about the extra money needed for membership except your currently unscubsrcibed to the present game

Why don’t we just vote to remove eoc from the current game?

If the 07 severs come back it will crush the current game, about half the players will go back to it killing the current games market and more…

Over time you will hold polls to vote to bring the ge to the 07 severs, godwars , quests, discontinued items and more.. you say that you wont update 07 servers ? Yet you brought back free trade and didnt even let us vote over eoc?

Also why cant we vote if we don’t want 07 severs?

In the end 07 severs will be over run by bots and it will end up being more like a 2012 server…

no company would jump into the unknown withou a full back up copy in case the unthikable were to happen ,so i dont buy that sad ass excuse that they only found a 2007 copy .******** .i was in 2012 when they decided to dump that eoc crap on me

Its Pointless lol. why would anyone pay 5 or 15 dollars , to play the old version of runescape starting at level 3 , with nothing at all , No economy , No gp , or armour , or rares , or anything at ALL ...

Now i ask , why would anyone pay for that , when they can simply join p-servers that are free? easyer to level up? and already have an active community and economy?

ummmm yeah.. i dont know how thats gonna work out :)

We will finally see how many ''loyal runescapers'' we have and how many TRULY want the 07 rs back.

Im tip my hat to you Jagex. This plan is genius. It's a win-win in every aspect for you.

1st
Only members can vote, thus you will be able to find out how big this group of quitters is (might not be that big at all and thus neglectable).
This bit of information is more valuable than the money it will raise.

2nd
If they do vote, they will be paying for it and if they want it for free. Well, they'll be paying even more for it.
