If you did not play in 2007 then why say it sucks? Seriously think about things before you post. For all of you who say we will get bored we wont. This isn't some stupid oh we just liked it better. The game play felt different and was. Please take some things in to affect before you post thank you :)

Jagex.. don't do this please. People won't miss the old RuneScape after playing this for a while and will miss the live game and get bored of the 2007 server because of no new content, It's a waste of time and no one would want to start from scratch anyways. Look at RuneScape Classic, 100 players online maximum? It's because people get bored of doing the same things over and over - no new content on it, no new exciting updates to look forward to, just the same old game. We all got used to the Evolution of Combat, so this is also bad timing, don't bring old servers.. just leave the game as it is.

They should have a server for every year, and every holiday event for that year will just repeat again and again. But I'm shocked that Jagex don't keep archives of the version of their game for each and every year. I thought that Jagex would be smart and do something like this, because what happens if the current game was wiped, and perhaps all of the data in Jagex?
You must have a BACK-UP! And keep that back-up somewhere safe, in case back-ups were wiped too! If you can't be a pencil to write anyone's happiness, then try to be a nice eraser to remove someone's sadness.

I won't support this, as I didn't support free trade back in the days. I believe that most members didn't even play in 2007 or even remember how this game used to be.
Anyway, as AMDfan64 said on first page, I hope that it won't cause the quality of both games to drop.
