While I have enjoyed almost all of my time up to EOC on Runescape going to 2007 why so far back???? I researched a Quote from Mod PI and have questions: I am happy for a choice other than EOC, but can this discrepancy please be addressed and why not give us something closer to Nov 2012 version???? Pi: Functionally, it does work to the point where we are happy to release it. I think you’d have to define doesn’t work. The old combat system is still there, we haven’t deleted the code although we’d be much happier to slowly phase things in to make the new combat system closer to the old one rather than just completely flip over because we do have that problem where we can’t progress, we can’t push forward and that’s not somewhere where we’d be happy to go back to.

2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote
Finally, I’m very happy to report that we have indeed managed to recover a full RuneScape backup from August 2007. This is a complete snapshot of the game, which we have been able to verify would work, with some time and effort invested in it. Ironically, in October 2007 we actually changed our backup systems, so we have no complete content versions from August onwards that are viable for this purpose.
This is a sad money grab!! Please People be careful what you settle for!!!!!!!!!
