if they re-install the rs 2007 ... they take on a new team ... they'd better take a new team to help and develop the actual rs ... maybe offer double updates ? twice a week ? it's a waste of time doing that ... and no mather what they say it will change the actual game ... less people on the actuall rs(new players will want to start on classic rs, it's just better, and they have nothing in the current rs), less budget for the actuall game, more cost to play the game they will increase prices for the new game too but not now that would be too soon and would influence your vote too much ... come on people think about it ... and DON'T VOTE !!

I'm still not sure I get how this would work out if the voting reaches the any of the thresholds..
Mod Mmg mentioned "it will use the current account database and you'll be able to use your existing account to log in, if you wish."

Later on he says
"A 2007 service would have a separate economy, started from scratch. This means items could not be traded or transferred across the services."

So the question is, is it just for the economy or will the accounts start from scratch too?

What will prevent players from training their accounts in EoC and then pking in 2007 server.. having soulwar prods around..

I've normally been one of the people that keeps telling people that the main game is necessary, and that the game couldn't have stayed the way it was for the sake of its growth.

Now, the first thing I thought of when I saw this: I'd pay $5-8 to renew my membership just to vote for this. And, I REALLY hope it gets over 750k votes.

** is a great game, even after EoC. But I'll probably support the old school server for the many people who want it. The main game will be where my heart is, but a 2007 server would bring back memories for me as well. I feel alienated from RSC because I wasn't there when it started. But I was definitely there in 2007. I've been playing since 2004.

Having old school servers would also mean more players, and therefore more money for Jagex and better updates for us. But Jagex first has to do a good job of eliminating bots... because if bots can survive after EoC, surely they can manage a game in which things are simpler.
