Jagex, you just wasted the best opportunity you'd ever have gotten for your funding!
These are the edits I'd have made for your payments:
Level 1- £15
Level 2- £5
Level 3- £2
Level 4- 50p.
This way you still make money, but not out of god-darn annoying adverts/promo's for the SoF.
I'd be more than happy to spill out 50p a month, and if that's 200,000 members for the RS 2007 servers, well... that'd be £1 million a month!
That'd help your funding significantly, and in a year, that'd be £12 million!
And people would want to play the current version with it as well! So it'd be perhaps £12million plus the current membership which will make phenomenal amounts!
Plus with that extra £12 million, you could fund more money into RS 2007, to give it updates and stuff.
Jagex, why must you be so daft and waste such an opportunity!
But make sure there's no SoF items on this version, or you'll drive us all crazy, I know you said no micro-payments now, but later on, we can all bet you guys aren't going to keep your word. We'd happily pay 50p monthly, to give you £12million a year, but we are definitely NOT going to accept SoF on this version of the game.
And that's just 50p for the access to the RS 2007 Servers, our current membership should also act as membership for these servers too, promoting BOTH, membership AND RS 2007 (50p monthly).
Jagex, you MUST read this post, it's significant, please edit Level 4 at least.
If you can't be a pencil to write anyone's happiness, then try to be a nice eraser to remove someone's sadness.
