"As usual, a lot of the complainers didn't carefully read the post. I won't bother explaining the misconceptions because it's all answered already.

After carefully reading it, it looks not only like the company is doing a very generous thing for ALL our players, but they're doing it in the most sound way possible.

People suggesting f2p vote, it really is not a very legitamte vote, since some f2p have only played rs for 1 day, while ALL paying members are actually investing in Jagex. Granted some f2p have spent considerable time and money in the game, but assuming Jagex does have a record of every dime you spent and how much time you spent skilling rather than botting, how would they define a cut off point for what f2p are eligable to vote. Also, this would mean they'd raise their goals. I hope noone here thinks they'd let millions more vote (half of which are retired accounts) and not raise the bar for voting. iIf you're member we know you're invested, and more than likely you are actively paying (not everyone has money to pay for a subscription they don't use).

Further more, though it might be possible to migrate items and stats to the old server, because 2007 is so different from current rs, that makes it too easy to introduce new bugs and glitches. Can you imagine how unfair it would be if Jagex forgot to program virtus wands not to be in the old game. If they did work they'd be massively overpowered and rare, and what about players who trained 120 dungeoneering. What will become of their stats. It's just simpler, easier, less time, less money, less buggy to start everyone at level 3 with no items.

To put it simply, you guys are asking for too much. Yes it's not perfect, but nothing ever is so quit your whining. Be happy they're giving you oldscape.

Any J-Mod,

Is there even the slightest possibility that we can have an account conversion? Such as the one we previously had for Rs2 to EoC-Beta.

I read that it will start out fresh, which sounds fun, but I would personally hate to seperate both my time on EoC and '07 Scape. Let alone would I like to depart with my Easter Ring! I love the bloody gadget! Both styles of Runescape are fun to me, and I know this is selfish, but I would like to enjoy the best of both worlds.

In fact, just by letting us keep our current stats would you be doing us a HUGE favor! Or even a 70% conversion of them! Please consider this!

Eoc is probably one of the worst updates jagex has made, i mean they really improves PvM and Slayer cause i hatted them both but after eoc i started them cause it was interesting

But wat kept this game alive was PvP and Eoc killed it, if u looked at w57 2k players online usually, 1.2k usually where pures, and 600 zerkers and rune pures (which were also killed by eoc mostly) rest where irrelevant mains which usually looked for fights but died or would teleport to save their rune

I'm actually glad its starting over,i have 12 99s and 500m cash,but still I miss when everyone didn't have billions. I miss having 10m and not being considered dirt poor,heck I have 500m and people still consider me dirt poor.

I prefer 2009-2010 combat system, graphics, pvm, and pvp to any other times or servers including EOC. 09-10>06-08>rsps's>11-12>98-05 i think lol>club penguin>habbo>dog crap (any crap for that matter) >EOC. Have you guys not noticed the unbelievably repetitive combat in EOC and easy gameplay (PVM) and non-existant pking. WOW, blind. When 07 servers come back you'll notice how bad eoc is. i'll still log in every once in awhile to see the even lower amount of players than ever.

It would be nice if we could transfer our stats to our 07scape account but its understandable that its not possible considering the advances made in the whole stats area. Former RS3 Completionist, On the road to Max old school
