Jagex, I am a huge fan of this, but I have a few questions that I would appreciate being answered. I just recently bought Gold Premier Club, and I would like to know if the 12 months of membership included will go to old servers? Also, will it cancel out any additional fees if need be? I am not as well off as some people and I had to wait a long time to get Gold Premiere Club, and I would not be able to pay for extra membership. Please answer!

Who wouldn't vote yes? I don't understand it, If you want to keep playing the current version of RuneScape you can, this doesn't effect you at all, this is just for the people who want to play the old school version. Why do you care if we want to play the old one?

This is awesome!! But just one question...

Will we get to keep our items and stats and bring them to old RuneScape?

If not, please make this an option so we don't have to play 2007 as noobs!!

Having to re-train your account if it is granted we get to play an 07 version of Runescape I would say, even though yes I was playing since then as well, is worth it. Whenever I see old Runescape pictures I miss the old Runescape. People complain a lot about wanting things back to way it was, Jagex listened is making this a possible thing, and people are complaining about it. Seems legit.

im not voting purely becuase the community form those days, went and played fake illegal versions of runescape, and evne the community of that time is less then what it could be, and by les,s i mean it was the epitome or failure and trash

Reading a few of the posts in this thread in relation to this, it shows that it's extremely hard/impossible to please a good chunk of the RS community; they did say that you can vote on updates you want to be integrated into the August '07 variant of RS, which apparently is ignored, as a result, people are throwing more tantrums "WHY NOT ANOTHER YEAR OF RS, I DON'T LIKE THIS", "THIS IS JUST GIVING IN TO THE EOC HATERS". Will NOTHING please you people? It's better than being stuck with a combat system you personally hate. ._.

I personally am voting for this because I would love to start fresh on RS again with this account I've been having since '05, the anti-EoC people will be glad that they have the game the want back, everyone wins. I personally don't care if I play the old RS combat system or the EoC system, I can adapt very quickly, but yeah, this is a really good idea. As for those that mentioned that Godwars came not long AFTER this backup, they will place polls on updates they want integrated, as previously stated, so there's a very high chance that the GWD will be the first thing integrated into the server.
