It pains me to see them taking actions like this.

I lol'd when I saw the "we are a company... so only our paying customers [and not our potential members who have quit because the game sucks] can vote to ensure revenue..."

This game really is meant to die. Back in 2008, playing RuneScape was a part of my childhood, and I used to be happy to say that. Now, it's just a print from a giant stamp that reads "MAINSTREAM MMO".

I don't know whether you just couldn't appreciate the originality back then, or you were one of the kiddies who got hooked in the 2011-2012 era of RuneScape. I've talked to more people that have switched to 2006scape than I have actual people who play the game, pretty sure that's saying something. Jagex tried way too hard, and this is their chance to admit "We screwed up. We really just wanted your money but we're not getting it. Plz cash 4 vote no scam plz."

Glad to say I've been off this game for months.

So.. With the return on '07 (Hopefully) I know it says if we get 500k/750k or whichever amount of votes there will be somewhat of updates. Does that include implementing G.E (for those who want it) and maybe skipping ahead and adding the Curses/Extremes? Or will these servers be STRICTLY 2007 content only, with no further updates to the '07 game?

I am sorry to say that this is too late for me. I have just cancelled my membership, which was locked in at $5/month, and I will not be renewing at a higher rate. I miss the old game; I am glad to see it revived, but I will not be back.

Renewing membership for the first time since 2008, as i joined in 2004 this is amazing 2007 was simply one of the best years, willing to pay $15 if i have to, jagex finally realized in 2006-2007 even 2005 there were 250k+ active players on at a time with very few of them being bots.

are there even 250,000+ active members, im fully for this and very excited to play this but i dont think that there are enough people to vote.. and you making it only for members to vote is just you guys trying to get more money out of us. this shouldnt be about money anymore, its about what the players want, does it cost you as much money to put this oldschool server back, as it costs you to make pointless new updates 2 or 3 times a week> your just trying to get money out of us anyway u possibly can, its sad.
